I walked out the airport in a rush. Luckily those men and women on the plane couldn't smell me...or maybe they were just being polite and not telling me that I smelled like a rat being thrown under a train and squashed...I think the second one is more realistic.Washington was actually a good state to live in. I checked my pockets for some money but I was broke. I used my only money for that plane ticket and I couldn't take no money out my bank account because then they'll be able to track me. There's only one thing I can do now...change my name. I can't stand no longer being Bahja Shamoni Rodriguez but if I'm going into hiding then I have to. Plus I'll switch it back when I'm ready. Yeah that sounds better. Since I didn't know my way around Washington, I had to ask people where to change my name at. And when I got there I had to wait like forever. Okay maybe not forever but it was close to it! When they finally called my name I jumped for joy. They led me to the office and sat me down.

"Do you have your information on you?" The lady asked. My information...dang! I forgot you had to bring your information and the only thing I had was my license. If I showed her my license she wouldn't help change my name because I'm only seventeen...emergency lying activated.

"Well I just came from out of town. I didn't know I had to bring my information...but if it helps I know my name is Bahja Shamoni Rodriguez." I replied smartly.

"Well...I guess I could do something. What would you like to change your name to?" The lady typed something into the computer. I thought about it...I don't want to change my name. I love my name too much to change it also I just realized I was broke so I wouldn't be able to pay to get my name changed anyway.

"You know what never mind! I love my name way too much to change it. Thanks for your help though and have a nice day!" I said getting out of the chair and walking out. Now I had no money, no place to live, and nothing to eat. I had to get a job and fast. I looked around searching for some place with a hiring sign on it. My eyes stopped on a near by Starbucks with a sign on it that read "Need Workers" in big bold letters. I looked both ways before crossing the street and entering Starbucks.

"Hello ma'am how may I help you?" A worker asked.

"I uh need a job." I cleared my throat.

"Applications are on the counter. If you finish them today you start work tomorrow." The worker said. I walked over to the counter and grabbed one of the applications. I sat at a table and began filling out the forms. Fifteen minutes later I completed the forms and turned them in.

"You'll start work tomorrow." The worker smiled and gladly took the forms.

"Thank you." I smiled back and made my way out the door. But not before taking a business card so I could find my way back here. Job quest: complete. Now I needed a place to stay...how was I going to come up with money if I don't start work until tomorrow? Ugh. I have no choice but to take some money out the bank. But one thing I was smart about was that I didn't take money out of my bank account. I took money out my grandmothers bank account which held millions since my grandmother used to be an actress in the old days. Not a famous actress but still a high payed one. I took two million dollars out of her bank account which I felt extremely bad and guilty about. I had to buy an apartment, I needed money for food, and I had to purchase a car.In addition I had to pay rent every month unless I wanted to buy the apartment. I looked everywhere for nice looking apartments not fancy ones, nice ones. I kept searching until I finally stumbled upon one I completely adored. It had wooden floors (except in the rooms), a nice kitchen, two nice bedrooms, and the living room was an amazing size. I decided to purchase that apartment and pay it off so I didn't have to pay rent every month. Next thing I need is a bed, kitchen utensils, a television, and a couch. I went to the furniture store and bought a bed, a pink bed set, kitchen utensils, a 32 inch television, and a three seat brown couch. I had no idea that the real world consist of this much money...the real world is not as easy as it sounds or looks. I went to Sprint and purchased a galaxy s4. When I start working and getting more money I'll try for an iPhone but for now I have to stick for what was available. Plus the Galaxy S4 was sweet! Especially the pink case I bought with it. Apartment: check, Apartment accessories: check, Phone: check, Car: not checked. I'll just wait on the car until I get everything situated. I could walk to work anyways. It wasn't that far from my apartment. By the time I was finished with everything it was around night time. My furniture wouldn't be here until two days so I have to sleep on the floor. What a bummer. I curled up on my carpeted room and closed my eyes.

8:30 a.m.

I took a shower and put on my work clothes they gave me which included a Starbucks hat, shirt, slacks, and a name tag. Good thing they give you clothes because if they didn't I would be wearing the same clothes I was wearing for like a five days straight. I looked at myself in the mirror and scrunched my face up. My pink hair was no longer pink it was my original hair color. It still had pink streaks but that was it. How could I have lost my color so fast? Maybe because I haven't dyed it in like seven months. Yeah that's exactly why. I turned on the lower shower head and began washing my hair with it. After I finished washing my hair it was wet and curly. Eh it's cute I guess...I checked the time and it was time for work. I rushed out the door and bumped into someone making me fall on my butt.

"Oh I'm so sorry." The boy said.

"It's fine." I got up.

"You must be my new neighbor. I'm Jacob. Jacob Latimore." Jacob L. smiled.
