Chapter 39

Shinhye's POV:

Sungjae was acting weirder by the second. First he asked me to go to Jeju...in the winter? And now he was frantically packing. I wonder what the rush was...

"Oppa...Is something wrong? You seem nervous..."I said.

"N-Nothing.  I could just really use a vacation right now."He stuttered.

"You know you can tell me anything right? Im here for you."I smiled.

"Thank you Shinhye. Lets go to the airport right now."He said.

He grabbed our suitcases in a hurry and put it in the van. The manager mumbled something under his breath. He looked reluctant to take us and he looked at his watch. 

"You have to be back in 3 days ok!?"He asked worriedly.

"We will hyung, now. Lets go!"Sungjae said.  

We started driving to the domestic airport and quickly boarded the plane. Once we sat down and we were ready for departure, Sungjae seemed more relaxed. 

"I guess you really needed the break huh?"I joked. 

"You have no idea..."He said. 

My phone started to ring 5 minutes before the plane was about to take off. 

"Who is it?"Sungjae asked. 

"Its Subin. Hold on."I said. 

"Wait!"Sungjae yelled. 

He grabbed my phone and answered the call. 

"Hello Subin...Is something wrong?"He looked worried and nervous. 

His face slowly turned relieved and he hung up. 

"Subin said to have fun."He said 

"Why did you just take my phone? Im perfectly capable of pressing a button and talking."I said. 

"...I just really wanted to talk to Subin before we left."He said. 

I just looked at him and smiled. I knew Sungjae was weird but recently...maybe he really did need a break. 

I closed my eyes as we waited for takeoff. 

Hyunsik's POV:

"That was weird..."Subin said. 

"What wrong honey?"I asked. 

"I called Shinhye to just tell her to have fun, but Sungjae answered instead."She said. 

"Maybe Shinhye was busy."I replied. 

"Maybe...He sounded nervous and scared. Like he was waiting for bad news."She shrugged and grabbed my hand.

"Ready to go visit Ilhoon?"She asked. 

"Lets go!"I said. 

We walked hand in hand to the hospital. When we arrived in front of Ilhoons room, i looked at my phone and I was texting Eunkwang hyung to tell him to buy lunch later. 

"Hul...Daebak."Subin said. 

I looked up to find Ilhoon...sitting up on his bed.
