I had woken up to Hitoshi kicking open the door two times now. Both with Yuu, each in a separate room. Except this time, he brought his kids and Min. Lovely.

It was Saturday, I believe, when the tiny twins hurdled themselves at me and Yuu.

"Don't sit on my bracelet," I had mumbled stubbornly in my delirious state, Yuu slurring something along the lines of agreement. We were too tired from staying up too late at the school's pool to be properly functioning at this current hour.

"They won't stop, you know," Min commented from beside my bed as Yuu's cousins ran rampant on top of us.

"I know. Obviously. But I refuse to remove them from lack of motivation," I responded. She snorted as Yuki and Ryuu slapped Yuu in unison.

"Ouch! Hitoshi, why won't you stop them?" My poor love cried dramatically. His uncle chortled, lifting his devilish four year olds off of us.

"Because it was funny. Right, Min?" He said with a grin over his shoulder to our friend, who gave a thumbs up.

"Dad, why won't they get up? I wanna play with Yuu's pretty boyfriend!" Yuki cried, her emerald eyes so like his father's, hair a brown I knew came from her mother. Heat rushed to my cheeks as I abruptly sat up with Yuu fast behind me. It was the first time I had ever been called 'pretty', even if by a toddler. The twins 'oohed' in awe, Min's lips twitching in the corners. She was amused by my sudden shift in appearance, going from ghostly pale to a vibrant silver.

"Your blush is so strange! I like it!" Ryuu chirped, grabbing out at me. His father tugged him back.

"I love you both dearly, but do me a favor and maul your replacement cousin, okay?" Hitoshi said brightly to his kids. They nodded and hurled themselves at Min, who almost karate chopped them to the ground.

"Better if you accept it, Min," Yuu sighed, boredly combing through my hair with a free hand. I yawned in agreement, leaning on his shoulder. A conscious part of me (Hiniku, possibly) was aware of the fierce red that blossomed across his cheeks by that action.

"Why did you decide to use your gremlins as alarm clocks?" He asked, sticking his tongue out to his little cousins, who mimicked the gesture from their seat of Min. Oh, emperor Tetsuo must love Christmas with them.

"They wanted to see Mikaela. Easy as that," he shrugged, wiggling his eyebrows rather suggestively at Yuu.

"Oh, shove off."

"It smells like chlorine down here," Min grumbled from the floor, blowing onyx hair from her face.
"And blood!" Yuki said happily. We all did a double take at that (including Ryuu), before the attention was turned to me.

"I don't know what she's talking about," I said defensively. When, in reality, I did know. Chances were that I forgot a spot on my horrifying pink rug from the incident involving a blade, my wrist, and my undeniable curiosity of what I was.

"They have questions," Yuu pointed out. I watched him scratch at the nape of his neck at my side, nudging me out of the bed.

"How do you know?"

"They're fidgeting on Min. Who isn't enjoying it all that much."

"Oh, so now you care about me. Lovely." Her mumbled response was accompanied by Korean, Yuu translating it to himself before responding curtly in Japanese. Hitoshi jumped in, translating it for Min. Yuki, Ryuu, and I stared at them in confusion.

"What the hell was that about?" Ryuu asked. Hitoshi scolded them like a steadfast mother while Yuu explained the short conversation to me.

"She had mumbled something about you, and I didn't like it all that much," he sighed, toying with my right hand, bracelet glistening in the sun. "And Hitoshi joined in on my side."
