Brendon and I didn't say a word to each other the next few days. More even, he didn't acknowledge my presence at all. I went to work, came home, watched him sulk, and then went to sleep.

I couldn't say it was what I expected, but on the other hand, I hadn't expected him to fall into my arms and forgive me either.

Nevertheless, it was getting really depressing, so the next time I came home, or Brendon's home, I sat down right next to him, briefly pulling the blanket off him to slip under it aswell.

He didn't react, so I slowly laid my head on his shoulders.

"You really need to shower," I joked, trying to get him to say something. Anything.

"Ryan, what are you doing?" He asked monotonously, shrugging my head off his shoulder.

"Trying to cheer you up," I answered.

"It's obviously not working, so stop."

"When will you fucking stop pitying yourself?!" I snapped, suddenly overly annoyed with him. "I'm sorry, but you can't spend the rest of your life sulking on your couch!

"Watch me," he hissed venomously, glaring at me. At least now he was talking to me.

There was a knock on the door and I moved to the opposite end of the couch, watching Brendon pull the blanket back up to his nose.

"Mr. Urie, there's someone here to see you," Diana said, appearing at the door.

"Send them away," Brendon told her.

"Let them in," I said, and she ignored Brendon's request. I could practically feel Brendon's eyes burning holes into my back.

A few seconds later, Diana reentered the room, this time with Dallon by her side. I raised an eyebrow in surprise, wondering how on earth he knew where Brendon lived.

"Hello," he said with a silky voice and Brendon completely threw the blanket over himself.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, and he turned to face me.

"I could ask you the same, I thought you two were done," he replied, "or does he not know about the other night?"

"We're not," I told him firmly, ignoring the last bit of his sentence.

"Whatever. I'm here to give you the new location. And they caught nobody, in case you were wondering."

He slid a piece of paper across the table. "Well, that's it. See you around sweethearts."

And with that, Diana escorted him back outside.

"He knows where you live because...?"

"None of your business," Brendon snapped, emerging from underneath the blanket and grabbing the piece of paper Dallon had left.

"Don't you dare follow me," he said as he briskly walked out of the room, sending me another deadly glare.

I opened my mouth to reply, but closed it again, sulkily resting my head on my knees. Who knew this would be so hard.

-------

When I came home from work the next day, Brendon still wasn't home. I began to worry, although I knew it was stupid. But that, and the jealousy burning somewhere inside me made me very nervous and I couldn't sit still.

I was pacing up and down the hall way when I heard the door open and close. Relieved, I waited for him to enter, but my heart sunk when Diana appeared.

It sunk even more when I saw her worried and scared expression.

"Mr. Urie is at the police station," she informed me, and a shiver ran down my spine.

"Why?"

She shrugged. "I'm heading there now, would you like to join me?"

I nodded violently and pulled on my coat, following her out of the house and into a carriage parked outside.

It didn't take long until we got there, and I practically stormed inside, my hands shaking.

"Brendon Urie, where is he?" I asked the guy at the desk who checked his book agonisingly slowly. My fingers drummed on the surface of his desk as I waited impatiently.

"Brendon Boyd Urie.... brought in 3 hours ago... charged with sodomy," he read out. "Down the hall, sixth door to the right."

Confused, I followed his directions and entered the office. I calmed down a little when I finally laid my eyes on Brendon, dark circles under his eyes and his hair messily spiked in all directions.

Our eyes met and I saw his mouth twitch in annoyance, eyes cold and distant. He didn't say anything.

"What the fuck is this?" I asked the man in uniform behind the desk and he narrowed his eyes at my language.

"His actions violated the Criminal Law Amendment Act and Mr. Urie will therefore be sentenced to two years in prison."

"What the fuck is that?"

"Brendon performed the - "

"What he is saying is, they suspect I fucked another man," Brendon interrupted.

I gaped at him. Two years? For sleeping with someone of the same gender?

"What proof do you have?" I asked quietly.

"He was seen fleeing from the scene of the raid of the molly house a couple of nights ago and we have someone who testified against him."

"That's your proof?" I spat in disbelief, my heart steadily beating faster.

"We also caught him heading out of another suspected molly house."

I closed my eyes, trying to sort my swirling thoughts. This wasn't happening. They couldn't take him from me for two years. This wasn't fair.

"It wasn't him. It was me. I was the one fleeing the molly house a couple of nights ago. The person who testified against him probably has a grudge against him. It was also my fault he was at that location today. He was at a friend's house, Elizabeth Berg, and was supposed to pick me up on the way back. I wasn't - um - ready yet, so he left without me. You can ask her, she'll tell you Brendon was with her both nights."

(Turn around)
Every now and then
I get a little bit lonely
And you're never coming round

(Turn around)
Every now and then
I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears

(Turn around)
Every now and then
I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by

(Turn around)
Every now and then I get a little bit terrified
And then I see the look in your eyes
(Turn Around, bright eyes)
Every now and then I fall apart
(Turn Around, bright eyes)
Every now and then
I fall apart
