"Anju!!what a surprise ! ! why are you here? "

"Ummm. . .  Am living here. " I pointed towards my apartment.

Sidhardh was my senior in college. we were pretty close during those days.

"Why don't you come in? "

"Maybe another time. Actually I need help. "

"What happened? "

"My friend fell down. I think she broke her leg. I need to get her to the hospital. "

"Still no luck with driving. "

"You can say that. I think she went on a date with you. Stella? "

"That's not me. Its Alex. my friend. "

"Oh! Sorry. she didn't tell me the name. so I assume that its you. "

"That's okay. I will tell Alex. you go and get her. "

"Okay. "

I went to Stella

"Sidhu and Alex will come. "

"Sidhu? you mean sidhardh, Alex 's friend? "

"Yup. He was my senior in college and a good friend of mine. "

"Stella, are you okay? "

I turned to see the owner of that voice. Its Alex. Alexander. Varun 's friend. He is also shocked to see me.

"Anju, this is Alex. Alex, this is Anju. " Stella introduced us.

"Hi" I tried to act like I didn't know him.

"Hey buddy.  Let's introduce later. Come on. Let's go. " Sidhu said as he come in.

"Can you help Stella? I don't think she can walk by herself. " I asked Alex.

Alex pick her in bridal style and walked out of the room.

"Are you worried about your friend?  She will be okay. " Sidhu told me. I smiled at him and grabbed my purse, phone and key and follow Sidhu.

"How is Stella? " Alex asked me. They are waiting outside while we are inside in the doctor 's room.

"She has got  a fractured bone. They are placing a cast on her leg. She need rest for one and half month. "

I sat down next to Sidhu.

"You want something to drink?" Sidhu asked me.

"Coffee. "

"I will get it for you. Alex, what about you? "

"Nah.  Am good. " Alex answered.

"Okay. Wait here with Anju. "

Sidhu walked away.

"Anju,  we met before.  Do you remember? "

"Yes. With Varun. "

"I didn't expect to meet you again. "

" Me too. "

"Ummm. ... about Varun... its all a misunderstanding.  Actually....."

"Varun is a closed chapter in my life. I don't want to reopen it." I  interrupted him.

"Does Stella and Sidhu knows about Varun? "

"Stella knows. Sidhu doesn't. I don't want Sidhu know about him."

"I heard you guys went to same college. "

"He was my senior. "

"Here is your coffee. " Sidhu gave me a cup of coffee

"What are you guys talking about? "

"About you. " I told him.

"Me??  All the good things I hope. "

"Good things?  I can't find a good thing in you. "

"How about I saved you from ragging?"

"You destroyed the fun. Actually I was enjoying it. "

"So you say that crying in front of your seniors is the way you enjoying something? "

"I didn't cry."

"Yes. You did. "

"I didn't. "

"You did."

"I didn't. "

"Oh!! Stop it guys. So that how you met him." Alex asked.

"Yes. After that we became good friends. My batch mates started teasing me saying this moron is protective over me. " I said to Alex.

"Moron?? Who is the one nagging me all the time with her assignment and all.  Sidhu  please help with this project. Can you tell me which all books I refer " He tried to imitate my voice.

"Oh!! Stop it Sidhu. "

"So you are a nerd?"

"No." I answered.

"Yes. " Sidhu answered.

"Hey guys. " Stella comes out in wheelchair.

"Are you okay? " Alex asked.

"All good. Got a new baby. " She patted on her cast that placed on her leg.

"Anju,  here is the bill. " She told me.

"I will pay it for you. "

"I will go with Anju. Alex,  take Stella to the car. "

"Okay.  Come on Stelly . Let's go. "

"I told you I don't want that stupid nickname. "

He laughed and pushed her wheelchair to the parking lot. We paid the bill and walked towards the parking lot.

"What happened to you Anju? "

"What? "

"Two years ago you deleted your Facebook account and changed your number. Like you don't want to contact anyone.  What happened?"

"Nothing. "

"That nothing means something happened.  But you don't want to talk about it. Is it  correct? "

"Sidhu.... "

"If you don't want to talk about it I will not ask you again. But don't ever lose your friend for that. "

"Am so sorry Sidhu. "

"If you are truly sorry then promise me whatever happens you will be there with me."

"That's something cheesy. Am not your girlfriend. "

"You wanna be my girlfriend? "

"Sidhu. ...."

"Oh!! Relax. Am just kidding.  Promise me you will be always there with me."

"I will."
