Camp Half-Blood
a week before Christmas
Christmas Break"HOLD HER STILL!" Leo yelled out, trying to untangle the christmas lights.
"I'M TRYING! OW!" I shrieked, as a shock went through my body. I jumped away from Thalia. "Can you stop electructuting me!?"
"No! Not until you stop trying to turn me into a christmas tree!" Thalia exclaimed, running away from me. She was visiting for Christmas break with Lady Artemis' permission.
"Ugh!" I groaned out. Nico chuckled shaking his head as he stood a few feet away. I huffed and narrowed my eyes at him. "Hey Death Boy, can you come help a sistah out?"
"Nah, I think watching all of this is more enjoyable." Nico chuckled. "Besides Will should be here any minute."
"Oh," Leo smirked, still trying to untangle the string of lights. He was almost done. Only a few tangles at the end. "What are you two gonna do?"
"I bet it's going to be making out mostly." Percy snickered, walking towards us with a box full of Christmas decorations. I held back a smirk as I snuck up behind Thalia.
"Shut up." Nico glared, a small blush appearing on his cheeks. Thalia shoved me out of the way, causing me to stumble into Leo. Nico busted out laughing, clutching his stomach.
"THALIA!" I yelled, getting myself off of Leo. I ran towards the Hunter. Thalia smugly grinned and ran away from me. "GET BACK HERE GRACE!"
Thalia cackled as she zoomed past confused campers. I huffed and picked up my speed. I rushed past Jason and Piper, who gave me questioning looks.
"Trying to decorate the Christmas tree, but Pinecone Face won't stay still!" I told them. Annabeth walked up next to the couple.
"Wait, you're-"
"You guys are turing her into a Christmas tree because she used to be a pine tree?" Annabeth perked an eyebrow.
"It was all Leo's and Percy's idea. I'm stuck doing their dirty work." I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, gotta blast!"
"She just quoted Jimmy Neutron didn't she?" Jason questioned.
"Yup." Piper nodded, popping the 'p'. "Are you going to help your sister?"
"Nope. Gonna pretend I never saw it."
I groaned as Thalia ran towards the direction of the woods. A sudden realization hit me. With a smirk on my face, I remembered about the creek. Gaining speed, I flicked my hand. Fresh water rose before it splashed onto Thalia, knocking her onto the ground.
"Nevah!" Thalia sputtered out. I grinned as I skipped over towards her. With a triumphant hum, I sat on her back. The female Grace let out a groan. I willed the water that was on her to weigh her down. The Huntress struggled to pick her self up. "Why are you so heavy?"
"I'm not that heavy." I said, playfully placing my hand on my chest. "I'm just willing the water to weigh you down."
"Ugh, Nev!" Thalia groaned, placing her chin on her hand.
"Woah! You got her!" Leo laughed out. Thalia and I turned to see our brothers and friends jogging towards us.
"You got the decorations?" I asked with a smirk.
"You know it amiga." Leo winked, digging his hand into his magical belt thingie. He pulled out the lights and tinsel causing everyone to laugh, excluding Thalia.
"Ha ha. Very funny."
"Don't be such a grouch." I stated, sticking out my tongue. "I might start calling you Grinch."
"Just make sure to get all of the water off of her before you put the lights." Annabeth winced out.
"Got it." Percy said. I got off of Thalia and helped her up. Percy extended his hand out and made the water go back into the creek. With a cheeky grin, he turned toward Leo. "Light me."
With a laugh, Leo handed him the lights. Jason pulled out a s
Santa hat and placed it on his older sister's head."Thanks a lot Jason." Thalia playfully fumed, crossing her arms. Jason smiled, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"Wait! She need's the ugly Christmas sweater!" Piper exclaimed. She turned to Leo. "Pull one out of your magical tool belt."
"Gotcha." Leo dug into his tool belt and pulled out a bright green knit sweater with colorful pom-poms sewn onto the front.
"Eeep! Perfect!" Piper squealed, grabbing the article of clothing and shoving it towards Thalia. "Put it on."
"I'm not putting that on. It looks like a reindeer puked it out." Thalia scrunched up nose and stepped back. "I'd rather stick with the lights and the Santa hat."
Percy and Leo smirked before the surrounded Thalia. With teamwork, the two managed to wrap the fairy lights around the Huntress.
"Smile!" Annabeth said, holding up a camera. Thalia glowered at her best friend. With a grin, Annabeth snapped a picture.
"Okay, okay." I laughed out. "We can actually decorate a tree. We were just messing with ya, Thals."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Can you get these lights off of me?" Thalia looked down to see the lights wrapped around her body.
"Sure, but your tree is getting decorated as we speak." Percy said as he started to unwrap the lights.
"I don't care, Kelp Face. Just get these off of me." Thalia narrowed her eyes at my brother.
"I'm on it, geesh." Percy muttered. He rolled up the lights and gave it to Leo. "There Pincone Face."
"Now, we can go decorate Thalia's tree." I smiled.
"Let's go." Thalia huffed, holding back a smile. I beamed and wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She rolled her eyes and nudged me. "I'm gonna get you back Dugon."
I rolled my eyes at her nickname for me. It was just a type of marine animal that lived in the sea. It's a cute one though. It is related to the mantatee.
We all walked over towards Half-Blood Hill to see the campers, including Hazel and Frank, already decorating Thalia's tree.
"Aww, c'mom guys! You started the fun without us!?" Leo cried, waving his hands around.
