"Life is kinda tiring you know ?" Lydia said to Alec.

She was laying on the couch with her eyes closed, while Alec was was sitting on the floor. It was 4pm already, Alec had spent yesterday at Lydia's place and they had breakfast together the next day.

Then Alec helped Lydia clean the house and after that, they had a delicious lunch together; spaghettis that Alec made himself without Lydia's help.

"At some point, yeah." Alec agreed.

"Can I ask you a question ?" Lydia said.

"Would you not ask if I said that you can't ?" Alec asked.

"No," Lydia replied.

"Go ahead then,"

"Where would you choose to live, if you could ?" Lydia asked.

"What do you mean ? A country ? A city ?"

"No you can choose whatever place you want, it doesn't have to be real. You can even imagine the place yourself," Lydia explained.

"Oh," Alec said. "space," He immediately answered.

"Why ?"

"As cliché as this would sound, it's because it'a far away from here, and it is absolutqly impossible to find me there, no one would even search for me there, it's quiet there, plus i'll be able to watch everything and anything from therr without the must of being a part of it. " he explained.

"You thought this through before haven't you ?" She looked at him, his eyes were closed and his head was laying against the couch.

He remained silent, agreeing.

"What about you ?" He asked her.

"Somewhere peaceful, calm, where I could scream with no one hearing me." She said.

"And why is that ? I mean why do you want to scream ?" He asked, almost whispering.

(Cuz im a banshee duhh)

"I want to scream because of despair, helplessness, because of feeling empty and worthless sometimes, because of the harsh memories, because of the pain that I've gone through, the ups and downs. I want to scream because of happiness, because of euphoria and excitement. I want to scream because of love. Life, it doesn't matter if it was good or bad." Lydia said, sounding poetic.

Alec remained silent again, because of these sincere words. At that moment, he felt like he didn't know what Lydia actually is or was. He knew that she was hiding a lot and the idea that she didn't share it with him, killed him deep down.

He wanted to be the arms that hold her when she's feeling down, he wanted to be there for her through thick and thin. But she obviously didn't choose him, he thought to himself. He wanted to make her feel like home.

He then glanced at his watch,
"Perfect" he whispered.

Alec then stood up and took his jacket that was hanging on a chair and wore it.

"Where are you going ?" Lydia said as she opened her eyes, when she noticed that he was getting ready to leave.

"No, we are going." He replied.

"Where ?"

"Just put a coat on and let's go," He said.

"What ? No let me get ready." She sat up immediately.

"Trust me, we're not going to a place worth wearing a good ensemble."

"Okay, let me bring my coat." She said as she started walking to her bedroom.
