"Gosh it feels good to be back." Lydia said as she and Wren were sorting out some papers on Lydia's desk.

"And to you have your arm back," Wren added.

"And that too." She giggled.

"Well my dear Lydia, while you were out there doing God knows what, I've been dying of loneliness here."

"Awn Wren but I'm here now !" Lydia said and was about to wrap her in a hug when the door cracked open.

"Oh I'm sorry," Lydia lift her head at those words to see a well dressed female around her age, she was hugging a pile of documents against her chest.

She had this beautiful skin mixed between chocolate and milk, eyes that Lydia thought were hazel, a big curly brown-ish hair and a tiny nose.

"I- I'm sorry for interrupting you," The girl said then looked at Lydia. "I don't think we've been introduced before, I'm Jasmin." Jasmin said as she offered her hand to Lydia hoping for a hand shake.

"Lydia," Lydia introduced herself as she shook her hand.

"Mr.Meyers asked me to hand Miss.Martin those documents,I believe that's you." Jasmin said as she handed Lydia the documents.

"Okay, thank you." Lydia replied.

Jasmine then smiled showing a deep dimple on her right cheek as she left the office.

"Is she new here? " Lydia asked Wren.

"Yeah." Wren said, "She was hired this Wednesday."

"She looks nice," Lydia commented. She then started checking the documents and drifts in her work.

By midday, Lydia receives a text from Alec telling her that he's waiting for her in front of agency so they would have lunch together.

She jumps out of her not so comfortable seat and hurries out of her office, she wears her coat and puts a red beanie on since it's freezing outside.

Lydia shivers the moment she meets the cold air, she hugs herself trying to make herself warmer while looking around for Alec. She feels someone wrapping their arms around her from behind, and the moment she takes in the familiar scent of fancy perfume; she knows that it's Alec.

She smiles as she turns around, meeting the same shining ocean blue eyes she has been living for since a while.

"Feeling cold ?" Alec said with his usual raspy voice, his arms now on Lydia's waist.

She nodded then said, "I knew it was you," Her voice was soft.

"Really ? How ?" He smiled, leaning closer to her and cupping her cheek.

She hugged him taking in his scent again, she kissed his neck. "The smell of your perfume, your scent." She explained.

Alec looked at her for a while, admiring her features. "God I love you," He said then gave her a quick kiss.

Lydia giggles as she pulls back then says, "Weren't we going to have lunch ?"

"I'm good with the lunch I'm having now to be honest." He teases her.

"Hey," She smacks his shoulder, smiling.

Alec laughs then holds her hand and walk her to the car, they head to the restaurant and after a few minutes they make it to their destination.

They walk in beautiful modern yet modest restaurant, they take a seat near the window that has a view on a beautiful garden.

"They make the best hamburgers over here," Alec said.
