"you know he's not gonna stop til' he gets what he wants" Louie said looking me deep into my eyes before he looked down at Jenn sleeping on my lap.
Shaking my head, as if i was in denial, but part of me know it was true.
Who am i kidding, all of me knew it was true, I know Ian better than i know myself. We used to be best friends, blood brothers, partners in crime, before Louie and everyone else, Ian was my only family.
I Looked down at the girl that lit up my life from the begging and clenched my jaw.
"Louie, i would walk though hell and back for this girl, i'm not making the same mistake i made last time." I say as my eyes glided over the sleepy brunette.
"i know mate, you really love her don't you ?" he laughed as i stroked her soft curls.
looking up i smile at my British friend, " More then life itself." i stop myself to think, " but he doesn't understand that"
"No Shawn he understands, mate this is probably the worst thing to say upon you, but he wants to take someone's love away, he wants someone to feel what he felt when he lost Kacy." Louie sighed as he spoke.
"But it's different than him and Kacy" i said as heat raised in my body.
"what is" a tired voice said starting us, i look down and see Jenn rubbing her eyes
"nothing princess it's okay" i smiled as i kissed her head as she slowly falls back into her slumber.
Admiring her sharp features I almost forgot Louie was sitting next to me.
"She really is gorgeous mate, i don't blame Ian, but he has to realize she's yours" Louie said as he placed a hand on my shoulder. Clenching his jaw he tried to find the right words to say. "Have you marked her? made her officially yours " He questioned.
Bitting my lip i laugh, " oh only if Jenn Hastings was that easy to get to."
"okay mate, im going to pass out soon so i'm heading up" Louie laughed as he got up.
"night bro" i said as i look down at the faded highlight on Jenn's cheek bones.
She was beautiful.
