When he walked into his room, Thomas threw his book bag down onto the floor, and slammed his door shut. Luckily no one else was home at the time. His family had gone out to get his sisters some new school clothes. Thomas kicked some dirty clothes out of the way as he walked over to his bed. "Just who does he think he his." He said aloud to no one. As Thomas was thinking aloud, his phone began to ring. He felt his pocket for it, but it wasn't there. He started shifting through his book bag until he finally found it. Thomas checked who it was and answered it without hesitation "Hey, Lauren. Whats up" Thomas had started calling her Lauren instead of Lady. "Hey, I have a quick question." "Okay, Ask away" Thomas noticed that Lauren's voice sounded a bit concerned. "Are we okay?" "Y-yeah. why wouldn't we be?" "Well, i just wanted to make sure cause there's been drama and stuff." "Lauren. we are fine. And a little bit of drama isn't gonna change that okay?" "..okay..well i just wanted to make sure. I gotta run but i'll try to call you later okay?" "okay see ya." Thomas sat the phone onto the night stand and put his arms behind his head. "There hasn't been any drama...right?"

-Later that evening-

The steam team was hanging out by the rail road tracks. They were chatting about random topics until James brought up an important topic. Prom. "I'm telling ya guys. Proms coming up and me and Rosie are gonna be prom king and queen." "God you sound like a girl" Gordon said punching his shoulder. James laughed and turned his attention to Thomas. "So T. You gonna take Lauren to prom?" "I haven't even asked her yet" "dude you need to ask her. Like really soon" James said "if you don't, it gives her message that you don't wanna be with her" Gordon nodded in agreement. "Hot head here has a point." "Oh please Gordon. You don't even have a date do you?" "Actually I do little Thomas. Emily." "You asked Emily? And she said yes?" Percy said surprised. "Of course she did!" Gordon said a bit offended. "I'm the best" he said proudly. "Okay take it down a notch." Henry said rolling his eyes. "I don't know why you guys care so much about a stupid dance." "Oh your just jealous you don't have a date" James said. "I haven't asked anyone. And I don't plan to. I plan on spending that weekend camping in the forest." "You're camping all the time" Thomas said laughing a bit. Henry just shrugged his shoulders and the friends continued their conversations on random, topics until the sun had gone down
