Do you ever feel fate in your hands, pulsating and changing color in a contained whirlwind of energy, threatening to burst into something unexpected and new?

Do you ever feel like you're sliding on a crystal-ice floor, ready to break underneath your feet, and take you somewhere unseen?

Have you ever felt like you're on a roller coaster that changes speeds hourly and always holds something new and unexpected?

How about feeling like you're on a public bus, traveling off to somewhere unknown, stopping at unpredictable locations, always to pick up or drop off some new passengers? The saddest part is saying goodbye to the passengers you rode with for years, but your heart is healed by the joy of the new, bright ones who are here to stay?

Or perhaps you're a shoe with no way of ever knowing where your master is taking you today, and whether you'll step onto beautiful tile, a forest's clearing, or a pile of dog-poop. Do you ever feel that way?

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again, as Katy Perry would sing?

You're falling. You don't know where you'll land. Your feet haven't felt firm ground beneath them for as long as you could remember. Yet you trust someday, you will land, out of your faith in the power steering your parachute.

Do you feel like a caterpillar trapped in a cocoon, becoming something new once you leave the darkness into the light?
