*after about twenty minutes Evie arrives back with a brown paper bag to find Mal pacing again*
Evie: Mal stop
Mal: Evie I can't help it!
Evie: here
*Evie hands her the bag*
Mal: thanks
*Mal disappears away into the bathroom, she reads the instructions quickly and then takes the test, once she's done she steps outside, test in hand*
Evie: two minutes
Mal: okay
Evie: what do you want it to say?
Mal: I don't even know, I feel like I'm supposed to want it to be positive
Evie: but you're not sure that's what you want
Mal: I guess, I mean Evie he turns 21 tomorrow, only 21, I'm only 21, the kingdoms not ready for that, I don't think I'm ready for that, I mean what if I mess up or something, I mean anything could happen
Evie: so you want it to be negative?
Mal: I'm not saying that, I don't know what I want, but what if it's too soon?
*the alarm Evie set on her phone goes off*
Evie: well I guess it's time to find out
Mal: oh
Evie: you okay?
Mal: my life's probably about to change isn't it?
Evie: yeah
Mal: you think I am don't you?
Evie: I do

Evie: every step of the way, but Mal it'll be fine, whatever happens Ben will support you
Mal: I don't know
Evie: he will, now come on, you need to know
Mal: I can't look at it
Evie: you can
Mal: I don't want to
Evie: you want me to?
*Mal sighs*
Mal: no you're right, I have to do this
*Mal takes a deep breath and under Evie's watchful eye turns the test over in her hand, Evie analyses her face but cannot figure it out, Mal stares at it for a few moments before looking away and meeting Evie's gaze*
Evie: what does it say?
Mal: that I have to tell Ben something
Evie: so you are?
Mal: I'm pregnant
Evie: congratulations
Mal: thanks, I think
Evie: you gonna be okay?
Mal: yeah, I should probably go see the royal doctor
Evie: you're not going to wait for Ben?
Mal: I need some details sorted out before I tell him
Evie: okay, you need some company or are you okay?
Mal: I think I'm okay, please don't tell anyone E, not even Doug
Evie: I swear I won't
Mal: thank you E
Evie: of course M, good luck
