Bal: two different worlds

*it had been two months since that day, Mal had had to see the doctor once a week every week since, 8 appointments, none of which Ben had gone to, Ben hadn't stepped foot into the doctors wing in 10 weeks, the first couple of times it didn't matter to her too much, it upset her s little be she knew he couldn't help it, Evie had gone with her so she wasn't alone, but by the 5 appointment missed it was beginning to really affect her, and now it was breaking point, she had come back from her latest appointment, now 8 months pregnant she was very close to her due date and had been told it could happen any day now, she went to his study with the latest ultrasound picture, she knocked on his door and was told to enter, she came in to find Ben wasn't alone, 2 council members were with him*
Ben: uh Mal honey can this wait? We're in the middle of something very important
*Mal stood there, that had been the final straw, she had barely seen him in weeks, he was regularly gone before she got up and didn't return until either when she was going to bed or she was already asleep, he was her husband and yet he acted like she was a stranger, she had finally had enough*
Mal: gentlemen I require some time alone with my husband if you would be so kind
*the two men took one look at her agitation and walked out in rather a hurry, she shut the door behind them, refusing to turn around*
Ben: Mal what's wrong? What's going on?
*Mal remained facing the door for a moment, taking a deep breath, trying to calm her temper a little bit for fear she would lose control and her lack of control over her magic may end badly, as she heard him get up however she turned back around, to hell with controlling her temper*
Mal: 'every step of the way'
*she quoted his previous words to her but he was still left in confusion, that fuelled her temper even more*
Ben: Mal talk to me
Mal: you said you'd be there every step of the way, I HAVE BARELY SEEN YOU IN WEEKS!
Ben: that's not true!
Mal: you're gone when I wake up and rarely back before I got to bed!
Ben: I'm busy
Mal: YOU HAVENT BEEN TO A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT IN TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!
Ben: Mal...
Mal: EVIE KNOWS WHAT OUR TWINS LOOK LIKE BETTER THAN YOU DO! I GIVE YOU THE PICTURES AND YOU BARELY EVEN LOOK AT THEM! I TELL YOU WHAT THE DOCTOR SAYS AND YOU DONT EVEN LISTEN! DO YOU EVEN REMEMBER WHATS GOING ON IN THIS PREGNANCY?! YOU SAID YOUD ALWAYS BE THERE TO SUPPORT ME BUT YOU BARELY HAVE A CLUE WHATS GOING ON!
Ben: Mal please...
Mal: I can't do this, I can't deal with this right now, I can too this with someone who doesn't care enough to be there, I can't be having twins with a man who can't find enough time to see the doctor or pay attention to what's happening, I can't rely on you like I thought I could
Ben: Mal I'm sorry
Mal: you were supposed to finish the nursery but instead I had to get jay to do it, my friends have been more help to me for the last two months than you have and they're your children, I can't take it anymore, I can't do this anymore, I wish I'd have known this earlier
Ben: Babe
Mal: I knew you'd pick being king I've us, I knew we weren't gonna be the priority, I saw it coming, I should've known, I couldn't expect you to put us first, I shouldn't have
Ben: Mal I can't help it! I have responsibilities!
Mal: I can't believe you, you may be able to escape your responsibilities but I can't!
Ben: well it wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the stupid magic stuff!
Mal: you're blaming me?
Ben: no, dear god no
Mal: you blame me for this?
Ben: no Mal please
Mal: wow, okay, I'm going to stay in my old room tonight and then stay with Evie for for a couple of days....I....I don't know
Ben: no Mal baby please!
Mal: the one person I thought would always be there to support me, who wouldn't ever blame me or judge me! I HATE YOU!
*tears streamed down her face as she screamed that last sentence, Ben was very taken aback by it, so much so that when she ran out he couldn't react fast enough to stop her, she ran out as fast as her very pregnant body would take her, straight down the hall to her old room, she went straight in and slammed her door behind her before locking it, she sat and she cried as he banged on the door and yelled his apologies through the wall, eventually it turned to silence from the outside world and she heard footsteps walk away, she cried her eyes out for a while until she finally decided she just wanted to fall asleep and leave everything in the real world behind, she didn't know what she was going to do but she knew that whatever decision she made had to be in the best interest of her son and daughter, no matter what, they were the priority*

So this is the first part of the scene I've been building up in my head for ages 😂😂 what do you thinks gonna happen? Lol finished this two days ago and didn't post it until now so yeah xoxo
