*Mal looked at the clock and found Ben had been gone for nearly 3 hours, he called an hour ago to check on her and said he's been a little while longer if she didn't need him and she'd said she didn't but now she felt strange and she didn't like it*
Mal: ow, what he hell, whichever one of you is doing whatever you're doing to me can you stop thank you, I'm growing you, you could at least be grateful for it
*she then decided she needed to pee yet again so she headed into the bathroom but just after she got in there something she had really hoped wouldn't happen did*
Mal: shit no, not now, I am NOT ready for this, Ben needs to be here, I need Ben to be here
*she grabbed her phone and dialled his number, he quickly picked up*
Ben: honey what's up?
Mal: I...I t...think m...my waters just b...broke
Ben: WHAT?!
Mal: y...yeah
Ben: okay, look it's okay we've discussed this, you know what to do, I love meet you there asap
Mal: o...okay
*he quickly hung up to head down to meet her at the doctors office while Mal took herself to the main door of their living area where her guards were standing watch*
Guard 1: my lady?
Mal: ow, we need to go to he doctor, right now!
Guard 2: my lady are you alright?
Mal: I'm in labour, DO I LOOK ALRIGHT TO YOU?!
*they both nod to each other before preparing to leave when she realises one key thing*
Mal: wait, the bag on the table over there, I need it
*one of them rushes in to get it before they quickly help her down to the on site doctor, she was not ready for this, physically, mentally or emotionally and she knew any second now she may just back under the pressure she was about to face, this was it, it was finally time, the second she arrived the doctor ran straight to her, soon followed by a nurse with a wheelchair so Mal didn't have to keep standing up or walking anymore*
Doctor: it's time?
Mal: OW! DEAR GOD!
Doctor: I'll take that as a yes, you ready for this?
Mal: WHAT DO YOU THINK?!
Doctor: alright then where's the king?
Mal: DON'T YOU THINK IF I KNEW HE'D PROBABLY BE HERE
Doctor: Mal, you're gonna need to calm down for me, getting stressed out is only gonna make matters worse
Mal: how can I not be stressed out?! Two human people are trying to get out of me! Oh yeah and to make things even better I may lose my child in childbirth because IM HALF FAIRY! HALF! I MEAN SERIOUSLY MOM?!
Doctor: Mal please, for the sake of your son and daughter
Mal: okay
*she tries to calm her breathing and steady herself but can't help finding it difficult when the pain she keeps feeling refuses to subside*
Mal: aren't contractions supposed to be on and off?
Doctor: yes why
Mal: because this pain is not going away
*Mal watches her doctors face turn and her heart stops, this was what she was afraid of, everything she'd feared since the day she realised what this pregnancy would mean, it was all about to come true, and there was nothing she could do to stop it*
