Chapter 11

The weeks had gone by so fast that I wished that we could have stayed longer. I enjoyed the vast island and all the beauty and secrets that it held. If I could have lived in this island I would have, but we couldn't stay forever. We had a life and a family waiting back for us in Forks that we just couldn't abandon.
    I sighed taking in one last look at the break-taking island as we got on the boat and sailed back to the mainland. When we arrived at the mainland a private plane was their for us and Jasper told me to sleep the whole way home and so I did. After what seemed like forever we finally arrived back home. The sun was just beginning to fall beyond the horizon for today and so Jasper unpacked all our bags while I took a much needed rest in our bed.
After what only seemed like a few short hours I sat up and pulled on my robe. Walking into our living room I noticed a familiar figure staring back at me. I smiled up at Jacob. "Hey". He didn't smile back.
    "Your still alive". He stated with a glare still on his face. I shook my head.
    "Yes and I'm not pregnant either!" I replied. I knew he was going ask me if I was or not and I also knew that that was the only reason why he decided to show his face here. Instead of just coming for a short visit to tell me congrats or that I'm happy for you. No he couldn't come here for that.
   "Good...". I glared at him. Then put my hands on my hips. As he started to walk towards the door.
   "Is that all you have to say? I'm glad your still alive and that your not pregnant okay bye now!"
   "Yes". He said without hesitation. I had to fight back the tears. I did not want to cry in front him. He wasn't worth it.
   "No congratulations Avery or I'm happy for you Avery?!" He continued to stare at the door handle. I couldn't believe he was being like this. This was not the Jacob that I knew.
   "Congrats..." He choked out.
   "Like you actually mean it!" I stated firm.
    "Avery....I'm sorry". I shook my head.
   "You know what go! If you have nothing else to say then go. I don't want you around me anymore if your going to be such a dick". I shouted at as he bolted out the door. I shook my head at the emptiness of the woods and slammed the door shut behind me.

Sorry that it's short, I just been busy with finals stuff and other stuff. Next chapter should be longer...I think.
