Chapter 25

   "Morning beautiful". Jasper greeted me as I stepped into the kitchen. I smiled at him and went over to him. He smiled back and brought my lips to his. I wrapped my arms around him.
   "Morning yourself. How did hunting go last night?" I questioned him. Jasper brought his hands down to my hips and sighed.
   "It went just fine. However it's still hard for Drake to feed on animals instead of...."
    "Humans. I know how he feels. I still have those urges too". I replied. Jasper smiled and kissed the top of my head.
    "It'll pass soon Avery". He reassured me as I sighed.
    "Not soon enough". I said. "Did Carlisle tell you about Jacob and Sam coming by today?" Jasper nodded his head.
   "They want to meet the original vampire ruler himself". I nodded my head at his statement.
   "I also told Jacob to be on his best behavior. I know that you have no problems with Sam so that's one thing taken cared of already". I added.
   "If he try's anything-"
   "Then I'll kick him out. Just take it easy on him Jasper. Both his best friend are now vampires. Basically his mortal enemy so he's going through a lot". I stated. Jasper sighed as Edward entered the room.
   "There here".

All of us gathered in the only room big enough for all of us. The living room. Sam and Jacob told Carlisle as he was the only one they truly trusted. As I came into view for Sam he sighed.
   "Good to see you again Avery.." I knew he wasn't too happy to see me as a vampire, but he couldn't do anything to change that. He turned his attention back on Carlisle.
   "Is it true what Avery told us?" He spoke. Carlisle nodded his head.
    "Yes. Dracula is real. I'll introduce you". Carlisle answered then stepped off to the side as Drake entered the view of both Jacob and Sam. Jacob raised an eyebrow.
   "I thought you'd be more old..."
   "With sleeked back hair and a black cloth. I hear it all the time, but I don't have any of those things nor did I when Bram Stoker wrote those books". He stated. I let out a chuckle and Sam looked over at me.
   "I see. Then why are you here?" Sam questioned her. Drake glanced over at me. I nodded my head.
   "To protect her". He replied pointing towards me. Jacob glared at him then at me. I knew that he was not happy about that.
   "Why?" He growled. Sam put his hand up.
   "The Volturi will do to her what they did to my wife if she doesn't join them. I'm here to make sure that neither of those things happen". He stated firm.
   "What did they do to your wife?" Sam asked him. Drake sighed and put a hand on his shoulder. He smiled at me and looked back at Sam.
   "She had the same ability as Avery does and the Volturi learned of her gift. They had never seen anything like it in centuries and so they wanted her to join them. However my wife refused and for that they slaughtered her right before my very eyes". Drake explained to them. Sam sighed and Jacob looked away.
   "I'm sorry that happened to you". Sam said.
   "I then made it my mission to if I were to come across another vampire with her same ability as her that I would protect them with my own life". He added. Jacob looked straight at Drake.
   "So there really coming after Avery because of her ability?" Jacob questioned him. Drake glanced at me then back at Jacob.
   "If they do they won't lay a hand on her". He stated. Both wolves nodded.
   "Agreed".

That went pretty well. Things are going pretty well and I'm happy with how things are going down.
