Chapter 30

It had been a few days since Sam's pack had spotted Felix and he had not made an appearance since then. I had figured that by now one of us would have seen him again, but no such luck.
    On Carlisles end however he had gotten word to Aro about Felix being here and Aro had sent word back to us right away. He had informed us that he didn't know much about Felix's mission, but he did sense that it was linked to Dimtris death and he said that he wanted to meet with a few us soon. He also ordered that I come along as well. It was no sit hat he had ordered that. I knew that he was ft o need proof that I was a vampire now. But some how I had a feeling that he already knew.
    "You thinking about Aro's letter too Aunt Avery?" I turned my attention from the letter to my niece. I smiled at Renesmee.
   "Yeah. I just have this feeling that he already knows that I am a vampire". I told her. She nodded her head and pulled out a cup from the fridge.
    "Dad was telling me that too. He figured that Aro had sent Dimtri here to change you, but he was confused as to why". She explained to me.
    "I kinda thought about that too". I let out a sigh. "I thought you stopped drinking blood for a while". She smiled and showed me what was in the cup.
   "Just like me and Bella. We always loved white grape juice".
   "That's one of the things mom says she misses".
    "I can imagine. Human food was pretty good. I remember when I lived in Arizona my mom would take me to these old dinners that had the best milkshakes". I smiled.
   "Sounds like fun". Renesmee giggled.
   "It was. Gosh I miss those days when life was just about being a kid and never having to grow up". Both me and Renesmee laughed.
   "At least you didn't grow up in like a month". She joked. I nodded my head.
   "Yeah".
   "Renesmee may I speak with Avery alone". Carlisle asked us as he entered the kitchen. Renesmee grabbed her cup and nodded her head.
   "Sure grandfather". She replied leaving the kitchen. Carlisle sighed and looked down at the letter in my hands.
   "I see that your still holding onto it". He noticed. I sighed.
  "Something doesn't feel right with Aro wanting to have proof that I am a vampire now". I stated.
   "Edward and I agree". Carlisle said.
   "Dimtri was sent here by someone. He's not like Felix. Dimtri wouldn't come here without orders or without a reason to. Aro had to have sent him". I explained. Carlisle nodded his head in agreement.
   "Dimtri is one of Aros most trusted guard. He only takes orders from Aro. Avery I believe you are right with this. When you we got to the Volturi we will ask him". Carlisle stated and I nodded my head.
   "I know I should be tough and sophisticated, but I quite nervous about this". I admitted.
   "It's quite alright to be nervous Avery. Your new to this world of our kind, but I'm sure with Jasper's help you'll be alright".
   "Thanks Carlisle". I smiled. "I mean for everything. You've been so accepting of both me and my sister by welcoming us into your family and I'm so grateful to you for that". I thanked him. Carlisle had done so much for me and Bella and we had never really thanked him for all that.
    "You make Jasper happy Avery and your sister makes Edward happy. All me and Esme have wanted for them was for them to happy and you have done just that". He smiled.
   "And Jasper makes me very happy". I replied slightly blushing. Carlisle smiled and put a hand on my shoulder.
   "I'm glad that he does".

Thanks to my math teacher canceling class I wrote a good five pages today. This isn't all of it, but I'll probably post another chapter tonight. A few more chapters to go then this saga will be over. I can't believe it!
