Chapter 14

As we pulled into Charlie's driveway Jasper locked the doors. I knew something was wrong. "Jasper what is it?" I questioned.
   "There is an uninvited guest here!" He growled. I looked at his glare and followed it to see Jacob, Seth and Courtney all sitting outside. Courtney waved to us and Jasper unlocked the car doors.
    "Hey Avery". Courtney greeted me with a hug. Seth smiled at Jasper and shook his hand. "Nice to see you". He replied. Jasper smiled back as Seth pulled me into a hug.
   "Seth I've only been gone a month. Not a whole year". I laughed. He pulled away.
   "Yeah I know, but I missed hanging out with you". He stated kissing Courtney's cheek.
   "So have you told your parents about you and Seth?" I questioned my cousin Courtney. She sighed.
  "They didn't take too well to it". She stated. I sighed and put a hand on her shoulder.
  "It'll be okay. Me, Bella and Charlie approve". I replied. She smiled then followed Seth inside. Jasper kissed the top of my head.
  "Thank you". Jasper said out of nowhere. I looked up at him.
   "For what?"
   "For accepting what we are. You've been so accepting of everything". I smiled up at him.
   "That's because I love you Jasper". I replied. He kissed me. I kissed him back.
   "And I love you".
   "Cmon you two lovebirds lunch is on the table". Seth popped his head out of the door. We both nodded and followed him into Charlie's house.
After a great lunch Charlie and me started to do the dishes in the kitchen.
  "So how was the honeymoon?" Charlie questioned me. I put the last dish in the sink.
   "Great. The island was really beautiful and I loved the color sea life. I had a blast dad". I answered him back. He flashed a small grin.
  "That's good to hear. You know Jacob called a few days while you were gone". I sighed.
   "I know. Bella told me. He came over to the Cullen house and yelled at her".
   "I wish Jacob would find someone so he would just leave you alone". Charlie replied. I sighed. Charlie was right. Jacob needed to find someone who he could love so that he wouldn't get his heart broken anymore by me or by Bella. We both just wanted him to be happy.
   "Me too dad. Me too". I let out a breath. "Hey dad?"
   "Yeah kiddo". I put the rag and dish down and wrapped my arms around him. I was going to miss this part of my life. Being able to hold him without crushing him. Watching football games with him and eating all that junk food. But I loved Jasper and I wanted to be with him forever. So becoming a vampire was what I needed to do. It was what I wanted. I had decided that a long time ago.
   "I love you so much". I said as tears rolled down my cheeks. Charlie sighed and kissed the top of my head.
  "I love you too Avery".

Sorry for the slow updates. Finals for college start today so I've been studying like there's no tomorrow. Anyway Avery will be a vampire and it'll happen soon.
