I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed shit I forgot to buy clothes and toothbrush. I got up and used the restroom and washed my face today I'm going shopping for new things to start my new life as a free woman. Once I looked okay I left my room to find a clothing store thank the goddess that this town was small and everything was close together.

I quickly found the store and bought underwear, bras, shoes, shirts, and pants all of the needs now for the wants. I wanted about almost everything in that damn store now I needed to move on to a convenience store.

I found one around the corner from here and put gas in the car before scavenging around. I found toothbrushes, body soap, shampoo and other things that I wanted and needed. Once I knew I had everything I ventured over to the diner for my morning coffee and that delicious pie.

I walked in and welcomed the smell of the most addicting concoction ever made. I looked up and heard someone gasp I was wondering what happened until it was to late I forgot about the bruises. They were out in the open for everyone to see goddess damnit why didn't I see it before I'm so stupid no wonder he hit me.

With that thought I pushed forward no goddess damnit I will not let him ruin my life anymore these wounds are our survival scars about the fight that I took for nearly two years. I will not hide any longer that time was up a very long time ago these are my battle scars that I would gladly show.

The waitress from yesterday smiled at me giving me a look of approval and at that moment I knew I was going to like her very much. She took me to the same table as last night some people kept starring until the waitress gave them a stern look.

I had to have her name I can't just keep calling her the waitress "Excuse me miss? Might I know your name?" she looked at me and smiled. Her smile was of a sisterly comfort "My name is Allison and what is yours?" should I tell her my name? She did give me her's its only courtesy to give her mine "My name is Lux and might I add you're quiet beautiful I love your hair" I blushed a little while saying the truth. Her hair was of bright blonde much like Mr.Blue Eyes from yesterday.

The door jingled and I felt that damn pull again to look up and it was hell of a fight, but I still lost in the end. I looked up to meet those electric blue eyes once more "Allison can I ask you just who is that man that's starring over here?" she turned and looked. The look he gave her was one of none approving I did not like the look he gave her he had no right to look at her like that.

I gave him my best glare and felt something vibrate inside of me like a rumble. The look on his face was of pure shock he then resumed of his none emotional face. Allison looked from me to him and back to me "He's the owner of all of the town" I looked back at him again and gave another glare this one I disliked, but couldn't deny the pull towards him.

"Lux would you like a coffee and that pie from yesterday?" I nodded happily towards Allison goddess I loved that damn pie a little slice of heaven. She walked away to get me my order while Mr.Blue Eyes came to me and decided that the seat in front of me was his to take. I didn't give a rat's ass if he owned this town my personal space was still mine.

"May I help you sir?" I cocked my eyebrow at him I didn't know where all this confidence came from, but I wasn't willing to give it back anytime soon. He just looked at me curiously looking at me like I was some damn unicorn I didn't like it one bit. "Well Miss I don't reckon I know your name and I know everybody's name here in my town. So answer me this Miss what is a pretty thing like you doing here in Fairbanks,Alaska?" Well shit I'm not going to tell someone I barely met my whole life story.

I looked at him one more time before answering "Well Sir I came because I wanted fresh air. I want to start a new life and just my luck destiny pulled me here in the middle of nowhere" I smiled at him. He looked caught off guard, but quickly resumed his composure.

He thought for second and then asked "Well Miss might I know your name because it looks like we're going to see each other a lot now" he winked at me. What the heck is wrong with this one didn't he see the bruises the cuts why is he still sitting here?

Well it seems our Lux here is starting to slowly move her way into Fairbanks. What about our girl Allison she sure took a liking to our Luxie over here. I'm guessing Luxie is going to be a permanent residence in this little town. What's going to happen next in our little heroin in the future can anyone guess?
What about Mr.Blue Eyes over here he seems very intrigued to know just who is Lux and why is she here? Wait just a minute y'all we all know Lux's name, but just what is Mr.Blue Eye's name. Let's just talk about that damn pie that she love's so much don't you just wish you had a slice of that creamy warm delicious pie right about now.

Well hello there my baby Shifterines how did you all like this chapter. It seems Lux is going to stay just a little bit longer than she expected of her self. Just who is Mr.Blue Eyes we all know he owns the town, but the real question Why is he so set on knowing our girl Lux.
