What had gotten into me I just gave this complete stranger my number and the the hotel I'm staying at.  While thinking of what just happened Allison decided to come back with my coffee and that little slice of heaven.

"Ambrose the regular right?" Allison asked. He nodded and looked back at me putting the napkin in his shirt pocket.

We sit there in silence just me drinking my coffee him starring at me. Once I was done I got up to leave "Wait Lux I'll pick you up at 1:30 from your hotel." Isn't that sweet, but thing was I didn't feel anything for this guy attraction was out of the question.

Not going to lie there was something more of familial bond like one of a annoying dad or something.

"Okay I'll be waiting then, but might I ask is where are we going?" He opens his mouth to speak, but before he does I hear a gunshot.

I felt this immense pain in my stomach. I look down to see blood starting to soak my shirt. I gaze up at Ambrose and then down I couldn't scream my body just shut down.

The next thing I hear is a ferocious roar it gets fainter and fainted by the second. I felt my body drop to the floor I see Ambrose holding my head in his lap.

I could barely hear his words "Lux...come on Lux you gotta stay with me... do not close your eyes Lux... please forgive me for what I'm about to do." What was he talking about I was going to ask him, but before I could I felt this pain on my neck.

I cried out in pain "St...op please j...ust make the pa...in go a...way" I breathed out.

I could feel the darkness call to me, drawing me in taking me away from the pain.

My brother and four other warriors had to force me away from rouge he was torn to shreds like they all should be.

"Ambrose calm down the hell down!" Joseph screamed at me, but I just didn't pay attention to him. Hunter was raging he wanted to be let out wanting to tear out more rouges until he was satisfied.

"Ambrose just calm down he's dead already you made sure of that. Come on let's check on the girl. Shit how could I forget Lux it was the only reason Hunter was itching to be let out that and there was a rouge in my land.

I turn to where I left Lux in my rampage she looked like a pixie. She was so small her heartbeat began to slow down. I ran towards her I couldn't let her die I just couldn't Hunter would die with her. I could feel it this bond if she dies then I'll die with her no I can't let that happen.

"Please forgive me for what I'm about to do Lux" I lean towards her neck and breathe in. I open my mouth to show my canines and bit just above where her shoulder meets with her neck.

I release her neck and lick the spot hopefully this works. "Ambrose what did you just do?" I looked to my brother " I did what I had to do I couldn't just let her die Joseph. Hunter and I felt that if she died we would die as well so I only did was I needed too."

I pick her up and take her to the pack doctor. "SHARON!" I called out to our doctor she ran over to me. "Who is this?" She asked goddess we didn't have time for this.

"Sharon it doesn't matter who this is what I need you to do is keep her alive." Hunter wanted to be released now he wanted to tear into something, anything I pushed him back for now.

She nodded and called out for more people they bowed their heads "Alpha" I didn't care right now.

Someone tried to take Lux away from me I growled and bared my teeth.

"Alpha let them take her she needs surgery right away" nobody is taking her from me.

"Ambrose she's dying either you let them take her or she dies right here your choice" I nodded and handed her over to a nurse.

"You better be careful with her or I'll rip your throats out do you hear me?"

They all nodded and ran to the emergency room I could smell him before I seen him. "Joseph I don't want to talk about it right now. Hunter is clawing at my mind to let free so I would appreciate if we had this conversation after I'm calm."

He nodded and sat beside me "I called Izy she's coming right now" I only nodded at him. I felt if I said something now I would break down. Why did I feel so attached to this human well werewolf now if she lives?

Why do I feel myself breaking. When lux was shot I felt my heart stop all I seen was red pure blood red. I jumped over the table and tore into the rouges neck viciously blood spread everywhere.

I heard the door open and looked up to see Izy with the kids. She looked to Joseph then me she ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "Ambrose everything is going to be okay. So tell me just who this girl is that has you all riled up?"

Izy is my brothers mate she's 5'4 with red hair and stunning green eyes With those little freckles on her cheeks. The kids are a spitting image of her Amber is the oldest of the 3. She's 14 with a big girl attitude, but her heart is pure Elliot and Derek the twins. What good could I say about the twins well they're 12 and a big pain in their dads ass.

All 3 have the red hair and the green eyes that were they're mothers. They will make fine Betas when the time comes which is closer than they think.

I start to tell her how I met Lux yesterday and what happened today and how I was going to bring her to the house. It's only been a day and I already have the protective stance towards her.

The emergency doors open to reveal Sharon " Joseph I think you should hold down Ambrose for a minute before I continue."

He nodded and held my arms down and dug his claws into my arms the pain helped a little.

"Ambrose..."

Ambrose heart started to stutter with each passing moment. It only gotten worse with all of this silence. What will happen and what becomes of Lux after the surgery?

Hello cuties so the reason why I'm posting now is that tomorrow I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. Yes I know ouch I feel the same, but whatever the upside is im going to be so drugged out 😂.

Wish me luck tomorrow and omg poor Lux being shot must hurt like hell. And poor Ambrose he feels so broken even after a day the bond grew so much. Omg 😱😱 is Lux a werewolf now I would have never thought just kidding 😉 I knew all along

Well my little Shifterines it's been a swell time, but this ship needs to sail off so off I go.
