~Ambrose~

-----------------

I jumped into my car and drove to the pack closest to us. My Father-in-law the pack Alpha of Midnight Heart. The errand I had to run was to tell them about Lux before I brought her over here. To make sure everything was safe and secured.

The drive was about two and a half hours from the pack house. I used this time to think over what I will say and what will happen when I introduce them.

The drive went quick, the next thing I know I was parking in front of the house. I took a deep breath before getting out of the car. I haven't been here since the incident.

"Uncle? What are you doing here? Granddad didn't say you were visiting."

I turn around to face my nephew Mateo.

"Mattie I thought you were at college still?"

"I just got back and now I ask you. What are you doing here? You haven't been here since..."

"I know that's my fault, since that day it's never been the same but I have news for everyone. Take me to him please, this is something you will want to hear and your brother if he's around. Don't forget all your siblings Mateo, everyone here is involved."

He smiled and shook his head.

"As always I do tend to forget sometimes. I'll have them come to Granddads office right now."

He led the way to Sigmund's office.

"So Uncle what kind of important information do you have for us? I'm very curious because it brought you out of your cave."

"I will tell you when everyone is around just know you'll like this very much."

"Well Uncle, this news intrigues me, just tell me this could be our little secret."

We made it to the office that was all to familiar. Mattie opened the door to the office and the aroma of just brewed coffee came to my nose. It was just like all those times when I stepped foot into this office when Marlene and I just started dating.

We knew we were mates the second we looked into each others eye's. He used to call me up every time I would act like a spoiled rich kid. He'd call me and ask what happened the next part after never would leave my mind. He took me outside to the back where the pack warriors were training.

He taunted me saying 'You'll never be good enough for my daughter. Look at you, acting like you're all high and mighty. Well think again kid, here you are nothing. Now, show me what you got.'

That day I showed him who I was what was in my blood. I was a Alpha born and raised as one. We fought until dawn broke and I was out of breath. He whopped my ass like I was nothing but a mutt.

He wasn't even out of breath, that irritated me even more. Since that day I have trained with him showing him I am something and I was worthy his daughter. That I was an Alpha.

That was just a memory now, one that will stay with me.

*Knock*

*knock*

"Who is it now?"

"Granddad it's Mateo, I have someone here to see you, he says its urgent."

"Come in then but it will have to be fast, I have a meeting in about an hour."

Mattie opens the door. I came face to face with Sigmund.

"Well what do we have here? Ambrose what brings you to my territory?"

"That's a good question Sigmund, I have something to tell you. Mattie did you call them?"
