I woke up the next morning full of energy, even though it was only just gone half past five in the morning. The rest of my family wasn't up, they were still in deep rest so I decided not to bother them. I don't think I'd ever actually been happier in my whole life, especially for a morning. I jumped out of bed and threw on some clothes and my faveourite Hollister hoodie. I scampered downstairs to make myself some toast and to get a drink. The toast was burnt and hard, but I didn't seem to care since I couldn't stop smiling, the fresh orange juice wiped away the taste anyway. I felt bad for my mum and dad, they'd probably be worried where I'd gone if I didn't write a note, so I did just that. I then picked up my school bag, which had my clothes in it so I didn't have to go back home to get changed, and grooming kit. I then silentenly tip-toed out of the house, trying to not make a sound.

It was warm and misty outside, I could feel the warm sun beem down on my forehead, which eventually began to burn as I waited at the bus stop. The bus didn't take long to come, which was good because I think if I was there for anylonger, I think the sun could of permanently scared the top of my head. The bus was quite empty, I didn't really get on the bus much since my mum was always there. My friends always told me to go on the bus and say that my mum taking me was lame, which to be honest I think is completely stupid. I'm glad I didn't get on the bus with them, it's so grotty and unhygienic. But I guess says me, I'm going up to a stable and mucking out horse poop. I couldn't really seem to imagine which one was less hygienic, but that didn't really matter right now. I payed the driver my money and sat at the back of the bus, the only other people on the bus were a buissness man of some sort and about three old woman with shopping bags. I hated the bus so much, while I was sitting at the back, I didn't realize that my seat had coke poured all over it, which made my pants sticky and brown. I forgot about that when I got a text message from Aaliyah, I wondered why she'd be up at this time in the morning.

'Heyy{: Can I come to your house this morning, pleease? my mums left for work and I don't have any money for the bus:L i can't be arsed walking eitherr, aha.'

I replied saying 'I'm sorry, Aaliyah, you can't :[ going somewhere, im already on the buss.'

Less then a minute later I got a reply.

'Where the hell are you going at about 6 in the morning on a wednesday:/'

'To the stableee.....'

'Why? I thought you went on a Saturday? :L'

'Aaliyah, I have a horse.'

Then, my phone started to ring, I answered it holding it slightly away from my ear because I knew that Aaliyah would be screeming down it.

"OH MY GOD DAISY. WHEN DID YOU GET A HORSE? HOW OLD IS IT? WHAT BREED? AAAAAAH!" She was shouting so loud down the phone, the old woman could even hear her. I felt sorry for her parents, they probably just got a rude awakening.

"Uhm, last night. He's called Henry. He's Thoroughbred x Warmblood, and 4 years old, gelding." My voice was quite and timid, I didn't want anymore attention being brought to me due to Aaliyah.

"Wow. So when can I meet him?" Aaliyah carmed down slightly, I could hear her parents in the background screeming at her.

"Tonight, after school. It's gonna be my first ride on him and I want someone to be there other then my dad. He's being moved to a different farm today to, so you can come and see." I giggled slightly at the comments her mother and father were saying to her.

"Okey Dokey, I think I need to go now. My parents kinda uh-" her voice faded away as her parents grew louder.

"Yeah. Bye!" I smiled even though she wasn't in front of me. I think Aaliyah is one of the only true friends I think I'll ever have.
