400 Poem Challenge (completed December 26, 10:15am)

first kiss

i want to be alone with you

but it terrifies me

what if i don't live up

to the man you expect me to be

i know we have an attraction

a connection we both feel

and if we could just get time

i know

we could create something real

i look at what is happening

but also, what we could miss

i know i am getting ahead of myself here

after all

we haven't even had our first kiss
