we no longer see

where have we

buried our sanity

under a blanket of hatred

decorated with profanity

we no longer see

people as they are

     they are colors,

          they are religion,

               they are countries,

we have gone too far

why have we let

truth bleed and die

pulled the trigger

turned a blind eye

we no longer see ...

we no longer see

at all
