i have to go
for a procedure this week
and i won't lie
i am terrified
it is not the procedure
that scares me
it is the end result
a simple 20 minute procedure
could change
the entire fabric
of my life
make me reevaluate
and revisit
everything
that i am

that i planned
it could dictate
my life
