400 Poem Challenge (completed December 26, 10:15am)

phlegm

we write about many things

too many to list all of them

but i don't remember seeing a poem

ever written about phlegm

i guess people don't want to read

about saliva and expectorated matter

its not a favourite subject

doesn't make for water cooler chatter

but did you know it has other meanings

it can mean a lack of energy

its also a surname, though not very popular

oh well, i guess its not a subject

that can be considered that much fun
