sleep

didn't sleep at all

last night

just sat in a daze

'till the early morning light

funny how the tiredness

suddenly goes away

when the future's not years

but could be a matter of days

so, sleep is the last thing

i have in my head

i will stay awake as much as i can

i can sleep, when i'm dead
