I sat down in class staring ahead as the teacher spoke of DNA and RNA. I grimaced, as I didn’t like biology, much less AP biology. I sighed, staring off into space.
I really didn’t care about learning at the moment because right now, I’m freaking about later. You see, remember how in the last chapter Cat mentions a new guy coming to this school? Well, as it turns out, I’m going to be his guide.
As wonderful as it is to guide some newbie around school, I wouldn’t want to do it. I mean, first off, I actually don’t know where most of things in this school were.
Example?
The gym, I have no idea where it is. I mean, I’m excused from all sport because of my blindness. Another place? The cafeteria, I mean, if my room is in the campus then it’s obvious that I’m going to go there rather than the cafeteria.
So, you could obviously think of me: a blonde hair beauty, with the right eye covered by her face with glasses perched on her nose fidgeting in her seat as she tapped her pencil against her textbook.
I sighed, the only reason why I was at my classes was because the new kid doesn’t have a first period.
Lucky dipshit.
The bell rang and I bolted up and out of my seat, with my bag in my hands. Another place I don’t really know where is?
The office. Well, I sort of do know where the office is but I only know where one route was and that was the main entrance, which was at the front of the school.
Which will take me a good ten or fifteen minutes to reach. I groaned, I hate my luck.
I sighed, walking to the front of the school, by the time I was at the office I was huffing for air.
“God damn, I need to work out,” I muttered, using the doors handle as support. I opened the door and walked in, immediately being greeted by everyone in there. I smiled and waved to them and when I came to head desk, Mrs. Norris gave me a nasty sneer.
“You’re late,” she glared. I gave her a sheepish smile and lied through my teeth, “The teacher had to talk to me at the end of class.”
“You’re late,” she repeated.
“Yeah, I’m late,” I sighed, giving her a tight smile, “So where is he?” She pointed to the waiting area where a boy with headphones in his ears and a ipod in his hands sat. His uniform was similar to mine, except he had a black sweater on oppose to a blazer and wore khaki pants since it’s frowned upon for males to wear skirts. I sighed and nodded my head saying, “I’ll take it from here.”
“I already know that,” she said rudely. I turned around and just shook my head, she was quite the bitch really.
I walked over to where the boy sat and stood in front of him until his attention arrived onto me.
“Can I help you?” he asked.
“No, but I’m here to help you,” I gave him a bored smile. I turned around and told him to follow me.
“So, where’s your schedule,” I asked, turning around and walking backwards. I stared at him with my one eye. He sighed and handed it to me; at the top of the schedule I noticed his name, Asher Malcolms and grinned, I liked that name, had a nice ring to it and then I proceeded to look at the schedule.
