Regina's pov:I eventually had to go home without seeing Roxy because no matter how hard i tried to convince the doctors they wouldn't allow me to see her.
The ride back home was clouded with my thoughts about the crazy nightmare i had. It's not like i never had nightmares or weird dreams, i usually have the weirdest dreams ever, but that one was just too much, it set me on edge and i can't shake off the fear from growing inside me.
When i reached the house, i headed straight to my bedroom, nonetheless, i was unable to do anything for my mother asked from one of the maids to fetch me, so i went down to the living room finding my parents and brothers all sitting in there.
"Why are you guys still awake, it's too late?" I ran my hand through my hair in attempt to shake away my exhaustion.
My brothers stood of the couch simultaneously before approaching me. "We wanted to check up on you." William smiled softly at me before embracing me in a tight hug. "Are you okay?"
Pulling away, i nodded at him before accepting the side hug Randy offered me. "Our sister is a one tough cookie bro." He joked lighting up everyones mood.
"Sweetheart, let me tell the maids to prepare something for you to eat." My mother suggested but i told her i wasn't hungry and that all i needed was a warm shower and some rest.
"Alright then, everyone off to bed, it's been a long day." My father huffed as he stood of his armchair.
We were about to leave the living room when someone unwelcomed got inside. "What is she doing in here?" I raised my eyebrow while eyeing my grandmother.
"Regina." My mother gave me a warning look. "Your grandmother is staying with us for few days."
"Great." I mumbled sarcastically, walking past her. As if my life is not already screwed over.
"Goodness dear, you really should consider taking a shower, you smell." She wrinkled her nose at me making me stop on my tracks.
"If you cared for just a little bit you'd have known that i was at the hospital." I turned around to face her.
"Not an excuse for looking as hideous as this." Her eyes racked my disheveled clothes and messy hair with disgust.
"C'mon nana, give her a break." Will stood in between the two of us.
"Yes mother, she went through a lot today, just--"
I couldn't hold it back any longer and without warning i exploded, cutting my father off and pushing my brother from the way harsher than i intended before i faced my grandmother. "I nearly died today, a fucking gun was pointed at my forehead, a lunatic girl accused me of murdering her sister, and you, all you fucking care about is my looks?!" My hands were shaking even harder, my heartbeat fastened and i was feeling my anger overwhelming me. I know my face was red like a tomato from frustration, i can feel the heat raising up my cheeks and it was all directed to the older version of me, my grandmother.
"Honey, calm down." My father placed his hand over my shoulder but i shrugged him off.
That's it, i'm done, i can't hold it back anymore i'm just so fucking tired of everything and everyone but more importantly, i'm sick and tired of myself.
"Don't touch me!" I snapped, feeling a lump raising up my throat. "You don't know what i fucking went through...i- i saw my best friend getting shot right in front of me!" For the first time since i witnessed Roxy falling unconscious to the floor i felt wet tears clouding my vision and i couldn't blink them away nor stop them from rushing down my cheeks, not anymore, i've reached the end of the line.
