Chapter 59: Follow the lights.

Roxy's pov:

Its been a week since the leaked video of Regina and the released rating list of Zachary. It looks like after these two stunts they pulled, their war has stopped, i can't tell if it's momentarily until they figures out what would be their next move and attack each other once again or they're done for good. All i can tell is how miserable they both look.

The tension at school lightened up, thanks to the principal's cleaver decision of suspending Zachary for four days. That helped people to forget and move on to the next hot topic.

I thought that Regina would be extremely happy after what she did to Zachary, but it doesn't seem like it, she flashes weak smiles here and there pretending that she's enjoying her time with her 'new friends', nonetheless, it's clear she's faking it. The only time i see her genuinely smiling is when Max is with her.

Me, i got used to seeing Regina and Max together, even when they're not actually together. Max told me that Regina is feeling overwhelmed about everything so he agreed on giving her time until she figures things out. And now they're back to being best friends with a little bit more flirting from Max's side.

I thought i would feel horrible whenever i see them together, i thought it would hurt like hell, i thought i'll spend weeks and weeks crying myself to sleep because the guy i like chose my ex best friend over me, but i was surprised to figure out that moving on is easier than what they say. The idea of them together didn't faze me at all, i actually feel happy for the two of them, they make one another happy, that's clear.

Ron has been acting weirdly lately, i don't know what's going on with him, he's so moody it drives me insane, a moment he's all happy, cracking jokes here and there and the other moment he's gloomy and depressed.

He's such a weird person.

On the other hand, the rest of the clique has been doing pretty well, Adrian and Anona seem to work on their differences, we often see them shouting and screaming their throats out at one another but soon enough they made up and that would lead to major PDA. In all honesty though, they make a wonderful cliché couple, the bad boy and the nerd. Students still give the two love birds a second look whenever they pass by them in the hallway or at the school parking lot or in the cafeteria. Obviously they can't seem to keep their hands off of one another.

Unlike Anona and Adrian's rocky relationship, Caleb and Christy who officially became the 'it' couple are shinning bright together, i'm not saying they don't have problems, all couples do, but they know exactly how to work on their issues.

Pamela is all about secrecy with her boyfriend Nathan, i mean, we rarely see them together at school and she never brings him up, it's like they're not dating. That's Pamela though, always the mysterious one who doesn't like talking about her personal life. But it's obvious to everybody that she's happier, it shows in the glint her green eyes hold.

Aaron, Théo and Eden whom i refer to as the three musketeers seem to be planing on something, whenever i adresse to Théo at school i find him talking over the phone or texting one of them. If that doesn't make you suspicious i don't know what would, there's something about these three, they just click as partners in crime really well and that scares the shit out of me.

It's a Friday evening, i was cuddling in the couch, laptop on my lap with Olive's cats surrounding me as i waited for her to bring the popcorn so we would start watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

I was looking through my old documents, erasing the things i didn't need when i clicked on a file to be greeted with plenty of pictures and right away thousands of memories surfaced in my mind. However a certain picture got my attention and i couldn't help the smile forming on my face while i inspected it.
