I went home with a huge smile on my face. I wish this night won't end. But it did.

My day started when I went to the gym with my siblings. It feels good to go to the gym. We went home afterwards, as I got out of the shower. I immediately texted Sofia.

She's so busy now. Ako din, hindi nga lang ngayon. As I put my phone down, I felt the vibration again. I got a new text.

Donny pls go to
my office.

I'm scared when mom does this "go to my office" thing. It's the worst nightmare, I remember before I was around eight, she told me to go to her office, and I did. We talked about why I put an ink inside my classmate's bag, I tell you, it was the worst thing I did, ayy the worst thing pala is when I pulled Hannah's hair because we fought. I cried a lot that time, if getting in trouble is the only time she calls me to go to her office, then I think I should pack my things and leave.

I can see her through the glass door busy with paper works, I opened the door with a smile. "Donny good your here," Mom said and hugged me.

"What's wrong ma?"

"Well, did you remember the time I told you to register for college at Yale University?" she said reminding me what happened.

"Oh, I remember that, anong meron dun?" I nodded.

"They accepted it!" Mom said excitedly and she hugs me. I froze from the news I just heard, I got accepted to Yale. "Congrats anak! So proud of you," mom added,

"Really?! That's great!" I said with a smile.

And the long wait is over. She asked what I'm expecting her to ask. "What do you think Donny? Should we go for it?" mom asked hoping I would agree to this.

"I don't know, Ma. I'm kind of attached to the things happening right now." I didn't lie. I mean, I have MYX, my family is here, few friends and Sofia. I'm a little bit worried right now.

"This is a big break for you Donny," Mom explained. I was about to say something but Dad came in.

"Benj told me you called Donny, what happened?" Dad said with a serious and a worried face combined together.

"Well, Yale University contacted me that Donny is going to college there!" mom said with her excited reaction again.

"Congratulations, my son! I'm so proud of you," Dad said and hugged me.

"Thanks dad, thanks for pushing me to try," I thanked him.

"So, ano anak? What do you say?" Mom smiled while holding my hand.
