Thirty Three

Sofia's POV

My life has been really good, I got so many cool friends, and with that I also have my boyfriend who completes me.

But even though I have them, there is something missing, yung feeling na hindi buong-buo ang ngiti ko.

These past months, my life has been good. My relationship with my family, friends, boyfriend pero merong kulang. Kay Donny naman, we're okay. We talk naman but not like before, he's busy with his training, tapos busy din sya sa friends parang wala na kaming time para sa isa't-isa.

Donny's POV

Ayon na nga, umabot sa buwan ang coldness sa friendship namin. Ang sakit kung iisipin pero I have nothing to do with it. I thought that we will be back if I agree with Marcos and her, but I feel like we were separated far from each other which I never expected.

"Donny?" mom hugged me, "Hi mom," I smiled and she did the same thing. "You look so weak anak," mom cupped my face trying to study what happened to my bloody hell face. I just smiled, "Where's my cheerful baby?" she teased, "Ma!" I said with annoyance but I can't deny, I love my mom. "Joke lang anak, binibiro lang kita." she hugs me once again.

She was about to left me in the kitchen, "Mom?" I called out, she looks at me.

"Yes anak?"

"So there's this girl from school that I liked, and... And she's already in a relationship. Is it right to tell her how I feel?" I explained, "Let me guess..." she said. "Is it Sofia?" she raised her brow, patay tayo dyan...

I didn't answer and I looked at my food, "Anak, I know you." she walks near to me. "Tell me, I'll listen." she kindly said, I just love my mom. "I love her but she's not aware. She's in a relationship now and our friendship is fading away. What should I do?" I explained and I feel like crying.

"You know what anak, it's really hard for your part. But you have to accept that she's in a relationship right now and you need to make your friendship stronger. Like, always being there for her no matter what." she explained to me, "If relationship won't work for the both of you, then treasure the friendship you have." she added.

"Thanks ma," I smiled and hugged her. "Anything for you anak," she kissed my cheek.

I tried my best to find the right words to text her, but there's no right words for it. Ang hirap talaga...

I finally found the right words to say which is, "Hi, how are you Sof?" dang I sound so lame. I was about to send when I got a text...

Where are you right now?

I'm in the bathroom, second floor.

I drive myself to Rosie's house, I heard there's a party at her house. Probably Marcos did something stupid, he usually does that. I drive as fast as I could, I hope Sofia's okay. Hold on Sofia. I'm on my way...

I got out of the car and barged in to the house, so many drunk people, loud music, people making out. Typical party goers, dancing and other things. I don't like going to this places when I don't know the people but for Sofia, I'm going.

I went upstairs and went to the bathroom, saw her crying in the corner. I walk towards her.

"What happened?" I hold her arms, "It was awful, Marcos cheated on me. I saw him making out with some girl, and he told me it was a dare. But I didn't believe him. He's a liar!" she continues to cry, naaawa ako sa kanya. Grabe talaga ang Marcos na yun, binigyan ko sya ng chance akala ko nagbago na sya pero he was still the stupid Marcos I know.

I just hugged her, "You'll be okay, I'm here. I'll always be here for you no matter what." I hugged her tight. She's sobbing and I can feel her tears in my shirt, my shirt is soaking wet but I didn't care. "Let's get out of here." I lead her out of the room and left the party with her.
