Twenty Two

4:52 pm. Friday.
Sofia's house.
Rainy afternoon.
"Pia," I called her, she looked at me still resting next to me. "What's up?" she asked. "I want to travel abroad." I said, "Same. Where are we going?" she asked once more. "I honestly don't know, let me check." I said. I took my laptop and search for good places.

"US or Europe?" I asked, "Asia," she said sarcatically. I gave her a poker face, she gave me a huge smile and kissed me. "Europe naman tayo para maiba." she said with a wink, "France?" I suggested, "It's fine, and after that, we can go to other places near France." she agreed. "Great idea!" I said.

We were quiet for a while, Sofia is busy watching a movie. I went downstairs to get some snacks and came back up. She is laying in the bed still focused watching the movie, I hopped into her and hugging her, "Hoy! Ang bigat mo!" she yelled. I just laughed. "I love you," I said with a kiss on her cheek and still hugging her. She kissed my cheek, "I love you too," she responded.

Sofia's POV

7:42 am, Thursday

Today, Donny and I are going abroad. WHAT?! THIS IS CRAZY, OKAY. It's our first time travelling together. I'm here in the living room waiting for Donny.

After a few minutes, the van arrived. I went to the car and left with Donny. We arrived at the airport early, we waited for a while. We reached our seats.

The plain ride was full of laughter, chats and corny jokes. It was a connecting flight, so it's really nice seeing other places. After that, we reached France. In the city of love. With  the love of my life. Medyo cheesy pero hayaan niyo na.

"Are you ready?" I asked as we leave the seats, he held his hand to mine and said "Yes, as long as I'm with you." He's always the sweetest. We left the airplane full of joy and ready to face France together.

It was one hella beautiful midday in Paris. Still I'm stunned by it's beauty.
We immediately went to the hotel just to get some rest. We slept for few hours.

Donny's POV

I woke up. I took my phone from the bedside table, it's 4:31pm.

I looked for Sofia, I just couldn't find her. Someone went out from the bathroom, I'm relieved. It's her pala. "You scared me," I said, she just laughed at me. "Sira ulo ka ba?" I said a little annoyed. "Sorry, I was just at the bathroom." she said as she stopped herself from laughing. "Let's go out, we've been sleeping for hours," I suggested half-laughing, she laughed too. She nodded.

I got myself ready, I'm wearing a black sweatshirt, light-washed denim ripped jeans and my favorite black Adidas. Sometimes, I get annoyed with girls because they are mabagal. Everytime na may lakad, I hate it pagmay kasama akong babae ang bagal kasi. Fun fact I hate being late, so dapat bilisan nila pagmay importanteng lakad.

It took her an hour of getting ready. I'm really annoyed now, I don't wanna miss the sunset. "Damn it Sofia!" I yelled laying myself on my bed, she's putting her mascara on, "What the fuck?! Donny you almost ruin the whole make up," she yelled in the bathroom. "You're so mabagal, I don't want to miss the sunset you know," I explained, "If you can't wait for me then go." she said, Damn it. I walked to the bathroom standing next to her, I put my arms around her while she's finishing up her make up, she looks pissed. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to waste my time staying here. Gusto ko yung mamasyal tayo. And besides, you're really beautiful without make up, because you have a beautiful heart, so don't pressure yourself hon," I explained still holding her. She removes my arms around her and faces me. "You know what, that's the nicest thing that someone said to me." she hugs me, and she whispers in my ear, "I love you." I smiled. "I love you too," I said in return.

We went out from the hotel, and stroll around the city. I see pink skies above us, it's beautiful especially when you're with the person you really love. I keep her close to me because I'm not letting her go. "Um Donny, I wanted to say sorry because of earlier," she apologizes, we are still walking. "I'm sorry too, because I was very impatient earlier. I was too overwhelmed by the city." I explained. "Ano ba yan, tapos na yun, let's just enjoy this." I added. She's the Audrey Hepburn to my James Dean, or even Beyoncé to my Jay-Z. She's everything.

We took pictures everywhere, and we also went to the Eiffel Tower because it is always beautiful. I already went here before and also Sofia. I am holding the camera while Sofia keeps on walking ahead of me. I ready the camera, "Sofia!" I called her. She looks at me from the back and click.

Captured. I'm in love with this picture of her. We went up to the Eiffel Tower, and seeing the city up here is breathtaking. "It's gorgeous!" she said resting her head to me, because she can't reach my shoulders because I'm too tall. "Like you," I said, she looked at me and I kissed her forehead.

I couldn't forget this night with her, travelling to one of the most beautiful places I know is fun and relaxing.

I took another picture of her at the café and keep looking at the picture. You are one lucky guy Donny, my conscience. I can't help falling in love with her. I posted this picture of Sofia.
