Eleven

- A week later -

Donny's POV

I have two more days left, then I'm leaving the Philippines. I spent the days left hanging out with my Brent friends, childhood friends, family friends and etc.

Sofia's POV

7:21 am, Thursday

Tonight, Donny is leaving. I went to the mall to buy as many sour strips/candy I can get. It's his favorite. After I went hunting for sour strips, I also ordered pizza and after that, I immediately went to Donny's. I check my phone. It's 8:38am. It's so early, but I think he's still in his bed going through his phone as always. I wanted to surprise him.

I knocked the door and tita Maricel opened the door.

"Good morning tita," I said with a hug.

"Good morning hija, you're so early."

"I wanted to surprise Donny."

She just smile.

"Tita, where's Hannah?"

"She's outside with Benj and Solana."

I went outside and saw them.

"Hey guys." I said.

They all went to my direction and hugged me.

"Hey Sofia! How are you?" Hannah asked.

"I'm good."

"Alam ba to ni Donny?" she said.

"Hindi, I wanted to surprise him."

"Wait, let's vlog this, you haven't been to my vlogs."

Hannah took her vlog camera and started..

"Hey guys, recap, Solana and Benjamin are here at the backyard, it's actually a beautiful day. And look who's here, Sofia!" she said to her camera.

"Hi guys!" I said to the camera.

"Sofia's here to surprise Donny, because Donny is leaving tonight for New York." Hannah continued talking to the camera while I'm standing next to her.

"Let's go," I said.

She is still vlogging while walking on the way to Donny's room.

Hannah started knocking.

"Donny?" Hannah said while still holding the camera.

Donny is laying on his bed, he's busy with his phone.

"Yeah?" He said.

Hannah opened the door wider, and I entered the room.

"Good morning, Donny." I said with a huge smile.

Hannah is still vlogging.

"Good morning, Ai." He stood up from his bed, and he came near to me and hugged me.

"I brought you your favorite," I said and showed him 6 packs of sour strips/candy.

"Oh no. Thank you, buaya." he said while his eyes widen, he hugs me and never let go.

"How do you feel right now?" Hannah said while still vlogging.

"Happy," Donny said with a huge smile and still putting his arm around me and resting his head to mine.

After surprising him, we ate our breakfast together.

"Do you have work today, Ai?" Donny asked me.

"Meron, but I told them I can't come kasi I'm spending my day with my best friend.

"I appreciate it, thank you. But, you don't have to. It's fine."

"No, it's okay."

"Ikaw bahala."

I spent the rest of the day at Pangilinan's. It was fun being with them. I cherish every moment I have left with Donny.

We watched our favorite films, ate our favorite foods and chatted about our favorite memories together.

Donny's POV

I don't want this to end, but it did. I brought the things I need for States downstairs, already done and ready to go.

We went to the airport. I am 10minutes early before the time.

When the time came, I hugged each of them and leave them kisses on the cheeks. I never noticed that I'm starting to cry. I see my mom cry, it's not usual for me to cry, but it happened. I'm going to miss them.

"Bye, guys. I'll miss you all." I said while still hugging them.

"Please call us when you get there. We'll miss you Donny." Mom said still crying.

I just nodded and hugged her once more.

"You know you have to call me," Sofia said while we hug.

"Ofcourse I will. I'll miss you." I said and kissed her cheek.

I carried Solana and hugged her tight, tight as I could. I'll miss my little mermaid.

"It's time to go Donny, say goodbye na." Dad said carrying Solana.

We group hugged for the last time. As I walk away from them, I can hear their cry and it hurts. I can also feel the tears are falling down to my clothes.

The only thing that runs inside my head is I'm going to miss them.
