Lucy POV:
I glanced up at the clock on the wall and noticed it was close to midnight, great then I can get some sleep. I look at Sakura who is lying on the bar fast asleep, damn her. She was supposed to be cleaning the glasses, but I guess I'll have to do that now. Maybe it can wait until the morning? I have to finish cleaning the floor and then dry it all before I can sleep but I have a trick for something like this, placing the scrubbing brush into the bucket I wave my unshackled hand over the guild hall and then begin to collect the water in my hand. I can already feel my hair begin to change colour and I can feel it around my shoulders like I'm under water, the water collects into my hand and turns into a crystal clear sphere of water which I deposit into the bucket.
"Quite a skill you have there." I hear someone say.
Turning around I glance at the stairs where I heard the voice, and I notice it was Master Makarov.
"Thank you sir, I may be cursed but I've learned to control my magic." I say walking to Sakura.
"What do you mean you know how to control your magic?" He asks me.
"Well sir, every time I was taught a new element I wasn't aloud to learn the next one before I had mastered the one I was currently learning. Mommy always said I was very quick to learn." I say and feel the tears threatening to fall from my one good eye.
I then place my hand onto the damaged eye, who knows if I'll ever be able to use it again so its going to take some getting used to.
"How is the damaged eye?" Master Makarov asks me while walking towards me.
"Well its going to take some time to heal, and then I'll have to get used to only having half my sight." I say sighing. "If Aunt Dina was here she would fix my eye like that." I say snapping my fingers.
"Aunt Dina?" Master asks as he takes a look at the damage to my eye.
"Yeah, her name is Grandina but when I was little I couldn't say that so I called her Aunt Dina." I say with a slight laugh.
"I may know someone who might be able to heal your eye, she's done this type of thing before. I informed her to wait until you'd finished working before she came here." The door to the guild then begins to open. "And here she is now."
An elderly woman with pink hair and red eyes walks in carrying a lantern, she is wearing a red cape and has a white and green shirt on with a burgundy skirt and in her hand she is carrying a basket full of herbs.
"Why did I have to wait so late you old fool." She says harshly at Master.
"Because its the councils rules Porlyusica, she is the prisoner I was telling you about." He says pointing to me and pushing me forward.
"This child?" She asks holding me by the shoulder, she then lifts her lantern to my face and sighs sadly. "Another eye I need to fix? And why does she look so much like the member you recently lost?"
"I can't answer those questions because I don't know my self, all I know is that the council is deciding her fate and she could be here for another day, a month or a year. So please, can you fix her eye?" Master says as Porlyusica pulls the bandage from my eye. "She also has some wounds on her back I would like you to look at."
"Very well. Come with me child." She says taking my grubby paw in her smooth delicate hand.
She leads me up into a small room filled with about five beds, each has a curtain hanging from the ceiling which can be pulled to surround the beds. The smell of medicine is over powering, so much so I have to cover my nose with my hand.
"Take your dress off and we'll take a look at your back first." She says to me as she cuts some bandages.
I shyly pull my dress off so I'm left standing in just my underwear, folding my dress I place it onto the bed closest to me.
"My goodness!" The woman exclaims and grabs me by my shoulders. "Have these happened recently?"
"Yes about three days before I came here, I tried to keep them as clean as I could when I was in my cell but I couldn't wash them without being in horrible pain." I say as she fetches some alcohol and a cotton wool ball.
"Well this is going to hurt, lie down on the bed dear." She says to me.
Lying down on the bed she begins to clean my wounds, it feels like I'm having red hot pokers stabbed into my skin with every breath. She keeps telling me that I'm doing well but the tears keep coming from my eyes.
"There all done, just need to bandage these now. You can sit up for that." She says holding a roll of white bandages.
I sit up and she wraps the bandages around my middle up to my shoulders and down to the base of my back, she then begins to do something to my damaged eye. Adding some medicines and ground up herbs she places the pack onto my eye and then adds a bandage over the top half of my head and over the damaged eye.
"There I'll come back same time in two days and it should be healed." She says to me.
"Thank you Ma'am.." I say yawning.
She walks over to me and helps me to get my old dress back on, then she leads me by the shoulders back to Makarov.
"She's exhausted, where is she staying?" The woman asks.
"In the cell, down in the basement." He says nodding to me.
I nod and then pick Sakura back up before walking down the cold stairs, my back feels much better now that its all bandaged up. I can hear the two of them shouting at each other as I opened my cell door, I don't bother listening to what they say so I walk into the cell glancing around the small cell and sigh.
"Lucy, you ok?" Sakura asks.
"Yeah, just...its going to be cold tonight." I say closing the door behind me.
"I can help with that." She says and then turns into the wolf she was this morning.
I lie down and pull the old blanket over my body and use Sakura as a pillow, she's nice and warm so I snuggle down and feel my eyes become heavier and heavier until I'm fast asleep.
