The Dragon Princess

Chapter 26

Lucy POV:

I walked towards Celestia as she looked down at me, raising my hand I placed it on her scales.

"Would it be ok to bring them home?" I asked looking into her golden eyes.

"Of course my child, if it would please you then I will allow it." She said smiling down at me.

Smiling I turned to face the members of the guilds that were gathered.

"Guild members, you will all be teleported back to your guild halls. The Dragon Slayers will be allowed to stay with their parents, Fairy Tail you will be coming with me and the dragons to the dragon realm where I will explain everything." I say smoothing down the ruffles on my dress.

"Luce we're going to the dragon realm?!" Natsu yells excitedly only to recieve a bonk to the head from Igneel.

"Think twice before you speak to Princess Lucy like that again Natsu, will you ever change?" Igneel said resting his hand over his face.

"Please calm down Iggy." I say giggling. "Right everyone! There are plenty of dragons here! Climb on one and then we'll head to the dragon realm!" 

I climbed onto Celestia's back while Natsu looked at me and Igneel, I guess he doesn't know who to fly with.

"Don't worry Natsu, go with Igneel." I say and he smiles happily.

"Ok Lucy!" Natsu yells and runs toward Igneel.

Once all the dragons are loaded up with Fairy Tail guild members, Celestia began to flap her wings. We began to rise up slowly into the air, and I pulled out the crystal key.

"Open! Gate to the Dragon Realm!" I yelled and a huge portal opened up, it swirled with silver and blue colours and I could sense that the others were a little scared. "Don't worry everyone! It's much better once we're inside!"

Celestia pushed forward flapping her wings gracefully as we flew into the portal, my long hair was flowing around my shoulders as we flew forward to be greeted by warm sunlight. I let my eyes adjust to the sunlight and saw my home, the castle in the centre of the realm floating on a cloud. I stood up on her back and then summoned my wings, glancing back I smiled and then jumped off her. I could hear some of the guild members call my name but I just flapped my wings and smiled at them.

"Welcome Fairy Tail Guild, to my home. The Dragon Realm." I introduced. 

Flapping my wings quickly I enjoyed the sensation of being home again, All the dragon began to fly towards their islands so I made everyone a temporary set of dragon wings to allow them to fly towards the palace. Celestia smiled at me and then went through another portal, this one lead her to the Celestial World which is where she lived before she became queen of this realm. I landed next to the entrance to the palace and caught Sakura as she flew towards me, she sat on my shoulder and sighed happily.

"It's good to be home." She said happily.

"Yeah I know, I've missed this place so much." I say watching as everyone lands in front of me.

"That was awesome Lucy!" Natsu yells happily.

"I must agree, that was truly a fun time." Erza says sounding more formal than normal.

"Erza, please speak normally around me. I might be a princess now but I'm still a Fairy Tail member." I say glancing down at my hand, the old guild mark is faded slightly now but the golden one still shines on my shoulder. "Please come inside, I will get the maids to give you all a room. You can wash up and change into some fresh clothes, because no offence boys some of the dragons felt that you smelt."
