Natsu POV:
My first instinct is to run to Lucy, to hold her small body in my arms and tell her how sorry I am. We didn't trust her after everything we've been through together, I glance back and the others are just as shocked as I am.

"We just sent her to die..." Grey states running a hand through his hair.

"We have to get her back! They are going to kill her!" I yell feeling my blood boil.

"Natsu calm down." The first says in her calm voice. "That child wont be killed so easily, hopefully we'll be able to reach her before they put the noose around her neck. But she'll be very weak, as you know the council is going to drain her energy into a giant lacrima. Once that's done the Lacrima will be buried beneath the council building so no one can ever reach it, so we need to come up with a plan fast. Once we have a concrete plan we will head out, 6th Master summon the guild. Happy, Carla, go and find Lucy's exceed Sakura. Most likely she was injured going to get help for Mirajane." The first finishes and begins to walk back to the guild hall.

I look back to where the council was moments ago and guilt fills my soul, we all promised that we'd protect her...I feel like if my Luce were here she'd slap me or curse at me for letting a child be taken to execution by the council. We head back to the guild hall and everyone else soon follows, they're still dressed in their pyjamas and everyone looks exhausted. Master explains the situation but I tune out and walk down to Lucy's cell, opening the door I step inside and take a good look around. It's freezing cold and the only thing that could give a small amount of warmth is an old blanket that's covered in mould and grime, I pick it up and notice it's damp too. Lucy never once complained that she hated where she was sleeping, occasionally she would say she didn't sleep to well because she was a little cold but those times were few and far between. I glance down on the ground and something shining catches my eye, kneeling down I notice Lucy left her keys here. I pick them up placing the golden ones into my pocket, then I take a good look at the dragon keys. There are so many of them, I pick up one that's a deep red colour and is scorching to the touch. This must be Igneel's key. At that second I have an idea, if we can get the dragons here they can help Lucy! I run to the top of the guild hall and run to Master and the First.

"Could we use the Dragons to help get Lucy back?!" I ask panting slightly.

"What do you mean Natsu?" Master Makarov asks.

I hold out both sets of Lucy's keys and show them to him.

"If we can summon the dragons then we can take them to the council, surely they can tell them that Lucy is innocent." I ask holding the keys.

"That wont work." A small voice says from behind us.

I turn around and see Carla and Happy helping an injured Sakura into the guild, Wendy instantly rushes over to help the injured exceed.

"Why wont it work?" Master asks.

"Because they are only contracted to her, they can only be opened by someone who has her level of magic energy. I'm sorry." She says bowing her head. "I'm sorry I couldnt protect Lucy..." The pink exceed burts into tears and places her paws over her eyes.

"We will do what ever we can to get young Lucy back Sakura, you have my word." Master says and then we begin to plan.

Lucy POV:

I cry.

Its all I can think to do at the minute, how could they think that I would hurt Mirajane. Its that dark guild's fault, they made it look like I hurt her...I sob inside my cell hoping that someone will rescue me, the chains dig into my soft skill as my portable cell bumps along the road. Soon the cart comes to a hault and the doors to my cell are opened, Lahar grabs the chains and pulls me out. I cry out in pain as I land on the harsh dirt.

"Stop it!" I cry out as he gives the chains a pull.

"They were clearly the wrong guild to send you too demon, they treated you with kindness and that has clearly made you angry and reckless. The council will be moving the date of your execution, it will be in the next couple of hours so prepare your self. You'll be hung at sunrise." He says and pulls my chains. "Now come, back to your cell where you'll wait for your time."

As we walk down the corridors into the prison I feel scared, when I first came here It was the un known but now. I know exactly what they will do to me and what waits for me at the end, Doranbolt is the one who takes me to my cell. He takes off the chains but leaves the shackles on my arms since they stop my magic, I walk into the same cell I spent so little time in but it feels like I was here for a lifetime. I reach to my side to grab my keys hoping they can give me some comfort, but my hip is empty. Tears fall down my cheeks as I think of my beautiful spirits and Dragons being enslaved because I couldnt take care of them, my knees buckle and I fall to the ground sobbing.

"Whats gotten into you? You never used to cry this much even when we tortured you." Doranbolt questions looking at me with shocked eyes.

"I was happy in Fairy Tail, it was those dark guild members that did this to me." I say sniffing.

"What do you mean?" He asks looking at me with confused eyes.

"Mirajane took me to see the grave of the guild member Lucy Heartfilia, she told me that like her I would never be forgotten. Then the dark guild Dragon's Vengeance attacked us and made a fake me attack Mirajane! Please Doranbolt you have to believe me!" I shout reaching out to him.

He looks at my small hand then slaps it away, his eyes look full of something I cant identify. He walks away leaving me alone to weep and pray that someone will come and save me, I never wanted this to happen. All I wanted was to go home to my family, and in the process I found a new family in Fairy Tail. But all I could possibly want right now is for my mother to mick me up in her arms and rock me, while whispering soft words of comfort into my ear. I curl into a ball and try to get some sleep, soon enough after my eyes finally dropped shut the cell door was being opened again. Lahar steps in and attaches the chains onto the hooks on my shackles.

"Its time." Is all he says while he drags me away.
