*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

The shrill tone of the obnoxious alarm pierced my ears. I sat up and pulled the blanket over my head.

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

I turned more in my blanket as the tone got higher, it wasn't getting any quieter.

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

I rolled off the couch and onto the floor. "Motherfucker!" I moved to get myself out of my blanket burrito. I felt someone help me as I squirmed. I felt the electric shocks as Miles pulled me out. Diana looked around trying to find the source. She didn't seem as affected by it as Miles and I. I held my hands over my ears as I ran to the house alarm.

"It's disarmed." I went to the kitchen and grabbed some ibuprofen as I swallowed the pills dry.

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

"Are you okay Faye?"

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

"No, all I hear is that stupid alarm." Arthur appeared next to Diana.

"Werewolf hearing." He said dryly. "But I agree it is quite annoying." I listened to the alarm, I focused in on its tone till I saw Michael's hand hanging out from under the blanket.

"MICHAEL!" I screamed.

"What?" Michael popped out of his blanket.

"Turn off that fucking alarm!"

"What?" Michael looked at his wrist where a watch sat. Diana moved to pull it off. "No! Oh Shit!"

"Will you hit the fucking off button before I slam it against a wall whether it is attached to you or not." I threatened.

"What is it?"

"We need to get out of here now!"

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

"Someone get rid of that watch or I am going to scream!" I yelled. Arthur, in a flash grabbed the watch and ran out of the house. Then he came back, the alarm was gone.

"Where did you put it? Miles questioned.

"The lake."

"Oh those poor fish." Wren spoke.

"We need to get out of here." Michael spoke. He grabbed Wren and Diana's hand as he moved to walk out the door.

"Why?"

"Hunters are coming." Michael spoke. "They will probably be on Arthur's territory first. They noticed that I haven't responded since I reported Wren's appearance. They are coming because they believe that I've been captured."

"We have to be ready to fight."

"Miles, can you take Wren and put her with the women and children. I will go with Arthur." Michael spoke. "Diana and Faye can keep her company."

"Wait one second." Diana shouted. "Since when do you decide that I can't fight?"

"Yeah." I pitched in, "I came into this world screaming and covered in someone else's blood, I'm not afraid to go out the same way." Diana nodded.

"Fine, Diana you come with us. Wren you stay with Miles."

"See you soon bestie!" With that Diana, Michael and Arthur disappeared out of the house.

Diana's P.O.V.

Arthur brought Michael and I back to the library. I stood up and looked at Arthur who was talking to the same vampire from earlier, soon the house was full of willing to fight vampires. I looked to see no children. I was worried then glad.

No one deserves to not live their life.

At least these people are willing to fight, we can win this.

"We don't have much time, the hunters are coming closer. They found us and we have to fight back." Arthur said. Michael nodded and walked on. I moved to follow till the door was slammed in my face.

"What the Fuck? Hey retards, thanks for holding the door." I moved to open the door till I heard it click. "You can't lock me in here."

I heard screams as people fought. 'I can't just sit in here and let them fight.'

I used my powers and forced the door open with a bang. I went outside and immediately went to throwing hunters off of pinned down vampires. I could feel my energy slightly drain, but I looked up at the moon and saw it glow brightly.

As long as I stayed in the moonlight I would be fine.

"Diana, get your ass back inside the house." Michael yelled. I shook my head as I focused on the war.

"Michael, go get Faye!" Michael ran off, after Arthur's command. I tried to yell at him to stop, but screams of horror only filled the air.

Soon I heard the howls of wolves.

'No Faye!'

Distracted only for a moment someone pinned me down. I saw Arthur get held back as the hunter watched my eyes dart to Arthur.

"Ah, you found your mate. If you die, then all of them die." The hunter spoke, his voice was like nails on a chalkboard. I shook my head no. Then I saw Fayes wolf launch at the man. I looked up at the moon, red veins were spreading across the moon, it looked as if it were bleeding.

Then I understood...

'We can't win this war.'
