"Okay, I'm done with these lovelife shit" these are the words I uttered before my best friend has decided to slap me.
"Narinig ko na yan, tigilan mo na ako!!!"
"Ouch, ang sakit Cara, ano ba?" Sabay hawak sa sobrang pula kong pisngi. I understood why she did that but I still wanted to hear her answer, "ano Cara? Ang sakit ha?" Padabog akong nag tanong sa asar na asar na si Cara,
"Jusko, Aviana! Gusto mo ba talaga sagutin ko yan o gusto mo isa pang samapal? Mas malakas naman?"
"Car, please if alam ko edi sana hindi ako nag tatanong di ba? Galunggong.." I didn't know how she'd react next, so I shifted away from her and decided to get some fizzy drinks in the fridge.
Since nag break kami ng boyfriend ko 3 and a half years ago lagi nalang ako na-aabuse nitong best friend ko, hindi naman "lagi" physically pero yun abuse sa emotions ko dahil sobrang real talk nya. Wala naman sa akin yun mas mabuti nga yun eh, nalilinawan ako, kulang nalang hampasin nya ako ng florescent light.
"Av please rin, ilang beses mo na sakin sinabi na you're done with the dating pero pag may bagong mag papa-kilig sayo, todo asa ka na naman..maawa ka sa puso mo, pwede ba?" her eyes was filled with pain, I can see that, she's been dealing with me for the pass 8 years now.
I know the struggle when dealing with me, I also deal with myself every single day, alam ko yun torture, I know that I inflict some kind of pain to the people I love, kaya nga ako thankful kay Cara, dahil kahit sobrang bitch, mahal nya ako at hindi ako iniiwan, not even once did she attempt to leave me.
"Cara Alexina Mercedes Recardo, grabe ka naman, hindi naman ako ganon, hindi ako umaasa excuse me, it's called giving it a chance.."
"Chance?? Chance?? Kaya ka umiiyak eh, dahil tingin mo lahat ay mabait, you're being so reckless Av." frustration was the only thing I can see in her eyes, I moved towards her and gave her an awkward gawk and muttered the words "Alexina, I'm okay.."
"No you are not, you haven't been since...."
