>>Hello fellow readers! I apologize for not posting on this fanfic often, for I've kinda lost interest in it. But no matter, I will continue on! Well, that's all I have to say, so enjoy reading!<<

"I heard that there are plans for a large scale expedition in thirty days." Erd said, striking up a conversation, "And we're going to bring the new recruits in too."
"You're kidding! After the recent Titan attack? That seems a little rough." I laughed nervously.
"Is that true, Captain Levi?" Petra asked worriedly.
"I have no control over expedition planning. However, it's Commander Erwin we're talking about here. He probably has thought this over." Levi answered, taking a sip of his tea. I couldn't help but stare at how he held his cup. Eren nudged me with his elbow, and I realized I was gaping. I quickly regained my composure, while Auruo just rolled his eyes.
"The Wall Maria retake was disastrous, and we had thought we lost hope. But then, we get a sliver of it." Eld looks at Eren, who's eyes widen. Everyone's attention was focused on him. "So, how does it work? The whole changing into a Titan trick."
"Well.. I don't really remember what happens when I change. It's like I get lost or something. What I do know is that the trigger seems to be self-harm, like if I bit my hand..." Eren trailed off, as if he realized something.
It was my turn to elbow him, snapping him back into reality. "Are you seriously all right? You've been zoning out like this all day."
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." Eren responded, still lost in thought.
"Well, it won't be a matter of time before Hanji gets here." Levi muttered, taking another sip of his tea. Everyone shivered, and we glanced around in confusing.
"Who's Hanji?" I asked.
"You'll know soon enough." He answered. Something rammed into the door, and I jumped in my seat. Petra went over and removed the wooden beam, revealing a woman rubbing her head.
"Good evening Squad Levi!" Hanji grinned.
"Here we go again." Auruo sighed.
"I came to ask permission for Eren's cooperation during the Titan experimentation tomorrow!" She announced, zooming over to Eren and holding his hands. "It's a pleasure to meet you once again!"
"Y-yeah." He nodded.
"So? How about it?"
"Uh, well I can't do anything for my free will right now."
"I see. Levi, what's he got on tomorrow's schedule?"
"Cleaning the garden." Levi immediately answered.
"It's set then! Tomorrow you'll be all mine!"
"Could you tell me more about these Titans?" Eren asked her.
"Kid, stop talking." Auruo muttered through gritted teeth.
"I see. You're a curious one." She hummed in awe and excitement.
Levi stood up from his chair, and the rest of the squad followed after him. I sat in confusion, directing my attention to Hanji. Eren looked as if he made a huge mistake watching them leave. She sat down, beginning to talk to us about Titans.

I felt someone nudge my stomach. I blinked sitting up straight. Eren had dark circles under his eyes as he whispered to me, "How are you able to do that?"
"Practice. I used to sit through my parent's lectures all the time about social interaction." I whispered back with a smile.
"Is Squad Leader Hanji here?!" A soldier burst through the door. Hanji stood up in surprise. "The captured Titans... they're both dead!"
All three of us rode to the scene as fast as we could. Hanji knelt in front of Bean's skeleton, screaming and clutching her hair, "Tell me this isn't true! This isn't right!"
"Poor Hanji.." I frowned, standing next to Eren, "Do you think it was a soldier's work?"
"Probably." He said, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Sawney! Bean!" Hanji screamed. I saw Petra elbow Auruo in the side after a witty remark.
"What's going on here?" Eren asked, Levi on his other side.
"It's nothing to be frustrated about. It'll be handed over to the Military Police."
"O-okay." He stammered. Levi walked away.
A few seconds later, Erwin leaned in between us, "What do you see? Who are the real enemies?" Eren looked at him in confusion.
"Nevermind. It was nothing." Erwin straightened up, about to walk away.
"Humanity." I answered, making Erwin pause. "Humans are at fault. We placed this upon ourselves. The Titans are just there to be used as a convenient explanation for everything."
He smiled slightly at me, "You're a bright one." Erwin walked away, joining Levi. We turned around, watching them leave as our capes swayed in the wind.
