"What  the fuck do you mean you lost the files? You told me TWO days ago that you had them Ameryis! What the fuck do you think you're playing at? Are you TRYING to fuck everything up? Huh?" Helix shouts down the phone at me and I growl loudly. "Listen Helix, I agreed  to help with this because I owe Mylar. Don't pretend you have me under your thumb, let's get one thing straight. MY boss, pays YOUR boss who pays YOUR fucking pay check! You know what that means? That means that you are BELOW me Helix! Next time, think twice before speaking to me like that because I swear on my black heart, I'll castrate you. Remember what I do for a living asshole." I snap and before he can reply I hang up. Chucking my phone onto the porch swing I run a hand over my face whilst huffing. "You sound stressed" I hear a voice say and I tense. Turning round I come face to face with Bear, I'm about to scold him for sneaking up n me until I see the two steaming cups of coffee he's carrying. Just what I need... I think to myself as I take the cup Bear offers me. Nodding my thanks, I take an eager gulp of the scorching liquid. There's a moment of silence between us before he speaks up. "So.. what's got you all worked up?" he asks and I sigh. "Just work that's all"" I reply vaguely and he frowns "I don't remember what you said your job was" he says and I smile, "I didn't" before he can say anything else, a hooded figure steps through the gate and both me and Bear tenses. Placing my hand over the handle of my pocket knife which is hidden inside my jacket, my whole body goes into fight mode. As the figure steps forward the light from the house illuminates his features from under his hood. "Benji, what are you doing out so late?" Bear asks and Benji scowls. "None of your damn business" he snaps and I growl. "You watch who you're fucking talking Benji" I say and he flinches at my tone before straightening his posture and I raise a brow at his sudden braveness. Taking in his worn out eyes things begin to fall into place. The late night, the gym bag, the bruises on his legs and along his collarbone and neck,  the tense shoulders, even the way his calve muscles twitch as he stands in front of me. It's all clear now and my eyes widen. He must of noticed that I'm temporarily shocked because he straightens his shoulders further and glares at me. I think he's forgetting who I am... "It's Ticker" he says and I narrow my eyes at his rude attitude. "It's whatever I fucking say it is. You, me, inside. Now" I snap handing my cup to Bear who raises a curious brow at me. Huffing I say nothing as I grab my phone from the porch swing and storm inside. Hearing Benji's footsteps behind me confirms that he's following me so I head towards the stairs, ignoring the curious looks from new prospects and members. Reaching the bottom of the stairs I notice Colton talking to a bunch of newer looking members, "hey Raelyn" he says with a smile breaking away slightly from the group of guys he was talking to. "Hey colt? Is my old room free or is it being used?" I ask trying not to snap at the nosy looks I'm getting from the newbies. Well they might not be newbies, I mean I have been gone a while... "No, it's exactly as you left it why?" he asks and I nod to Benji, "I'm gonna have a chat with our darling of  brother" I say with a smile and he shakes his head at me but laughs none the less before turning back to the guys. Crooking my finger at Benji for him to follow me, I make my way up the stairs huffing slightly at how many people are in this damn house, I'm not used to being around so many carefree people. Reaching the top of the stair I look over my should to make sure that Benji is still following me. After making sure that he is still behind me I make my way to what used to be my room. Taking a deep breath I twist the handle and open the door, I'm surprised to find that the room has actually been kept in good condition. "Sit" I demand as I point to the bed and with a huff he reluctantly follows my orders. Slamming the door shut I run a hand through my hair. "How long?" I ask but silence is my only answer and I slam my fist into the door, "HOW LONG BENJI!?" I shout as he avoids eye contact, he isn't stupid he knows exactly what I'm on about and he knows I'm not happy about it. As his eyes connect with mine he flinches as he notices my glare. Taking a deep breath I go to ask again but he speaks up. "Five months" he says and I curse under my breath. "Why?" I ask softly and he snorts sarcastically. "Why? How about why the hell NOT? It's a way to make money and good stress relief" he says and shrugs like it's not big deal. I shake my head at my younger brother stupidity and narrow my eyes trying to reign in my temper. " You think this is funny Benji? You think that this is something you should be proud of? You're fifteen Benji! 1-fucking-5 Benjamin!" I shout at him angry at his foolishness. "Yeah, so! You was younger then me when YOU signed a contract!" he yells and my blood runs cold. What! How does he know about contracts? Fighters don't know about those unless they've been offered unless- My eyes widen. "Tell me you didn't" I say and he moves his eyes away from me again. "Shit! Fuck! Benji tell me you didn't sign years of your life away to a fucking contractor! Do you have any idea what you've done!" I shout my temper flaring. So caught up in my anger I don't realise the tears welling up in my baby brothers eyes. Well, I don't realise until I hear a harsh sob and my attention snaps back to Benji. He covers his mouth with one of his hands and my protective older sister instincts kick in. Rushing toward him I pull him into an embrace. "It's alright, shh, it's okay Benji" I croon stroking his hair as he sobs into my neck. "I-It's not though" I hear him whisper and I frown. He untucks his head from the crook of my neck to look me in the eyes. "I did a bad thing Raelyn" he says quietly with wide eyes. "What bad thing bud? Whatever it is it's okay" I promise him and in that moment I notice just how important  all these people are to me, and how important it is for me to make amends with them, and yes that includes...Phoenix. "I-I started the fire" Benji stutters and my frown deepens, "what fi-" I begin to ask but then I realise what fire he's on about, what's done is done Raelyn calm down... Wiping the tears from under his eyes away I sigh. "Oh Benji, it's okay" I say trying to reassure him. "I-I'm so s-sorry Ra-Raelyn. I w-was just so mad that you left a-and I just d-didn't k-know what to do a-and I'm s-sorry, y-you left me a-and I w-was so upset" he wails and his tears start falling again, I quickly pull him back into my embrace and shush him. "I promise Benji, Benji look at me, it's fine I promise bud but you have to calm down for me bud or you'll hyperventilate, I'm sorry I left Benji, so sorry but you need to calm down for me okay" I say and he nods mumbling a yeah. After his breathing regulates, I rise from my crouched position ignoring how my knees crack. "Go take a shower, get some sleep and we'll talk in the morning okay?" I say and he nods knowing better then to try and get out of it. Bending down slightly I press a kiss to his forehead like I used to do when he was younger. "See you in the morning BB" I say quietly and he gasps at the sound of his old  nickname. Sighing heavily I turn away and head to the door. Placing my hand on the handle I pull the door open, "Raez?" I hear Benji call out to me as I step out of the door, I pop my head through the little opening "yeah?" I reply curiously. My cold heart warms as a soft smile makes it's way onto my little brothers face. "I love you sis" he whispers and I smile a little. Swallowing thickly I breath out a breath through my teeth. " I love you too bro" I answer back before shutting the door and stepping out fully into the corridor. Sighing tiredly I run a hand down my face making my way down the corridor to the stairs. I need a drink... "Who the fuck are you?!" I hear a familiar deep voice bellow from down stairs and I immediately tense before rushing down the stairs. As I get to the bottom half of the stairs I jump over the remaining 5-6 steps. I hear a crash come from the family and rush to the  doorway. Looking in the room my eyes widen. For Fuck Sake...
