8 -Dinner and Party ✅

I looked in the mirror again and I walked downstairs. "Pizza is here," Danielle said as the doorbell rang I grabbed my purse and I followed after her. Danielle opened the door and saw her ex. I grabbed Danielle and pulled her behind me. "Thanks," I said and grabbed the pizza. I gave it to Danielle then looked back at Jay. "How much was it?" I asked. He was staring at Danielle and I snapped my fingers in his face. "Um, 15.85." He muttered and I gave him a twenty-dollar Bill and shut the door in his face.

" You gave me 20 dollars!!" I heard him yell. "Keep the change," I yelled back, I looked at Danielle who's eyes were watery. "I really need you back to school." She whispered and I sighed. I opened my arms and she buried herself against me I wrapped my hands around her. "Don't worry. I'll be there as soon as I can." I said and she sniffed. "You smell like a smoothie." She giggled and I smiled. "Thank Austin," I muttered and went over to the pizzas who I didn't notice she had put down on a chair. "Don't you need to talk to his mom?" She asked and I groaned. "After I eat," I said and she crossed her arms. "Fineeeeeee," I whined as I got up from the chair. "Save some pizza for me, will you?" I asked and she waved me off. I pursed my lips and walked outside. I walked over to the house and ringed the doorbell. Shawna opened the door and raised an eyebrow. "I'm here to beg your mother to let me Go back to school." I shrugged and she nodded. "Hold up." She closed the door and I heard shouts from inside. The door opened again and this time I saw the principle.

"Honey! How are you doing with the suspension stuff?" She asked sadly. I could've been expelled but since it was my first offense it went down to a suspension, and now, well I'm hoping she'll bring it down to detention. "I'm actually here to talk about that," I said, shivering as the cold afternoon air hit my skin. "Come in!" She said happily. I smiled and followed her inside the house into what seemed a living room. "Sit honey, sit." I sat down on the couch and she went to sit in front of me. "So what was it you needed?" She asked. "Well, Miss Bark- Rose." I fixed my words when she gave me a warning glance. "Um I really thought about the suspension thing and well I'm missing a lot of days from school... I was wondering if you could give me another type of consequence?..." I trailed off and she bit her lip. "Well, there is one thing..." I lightened up. "Anything. You name it, as long as I can get back to school." I said and she hesitated then sighed. "Well, there's a student, who's failing on a class, if you tutored him I'll let you off the hook." She said and I nodded quickly.

"Who is it?" I asked. "It's my son." I internally groaned. "Oh," I said. "Well, I guess I'm okay with that. When can I go back to school?" I asked. "On Wednesday." She said and I nodded. "Thank you so much Miss- I mean Rose. You have no idea how grateful I am." I said and she smiled. "Mother, food is ready. " I looked up and see Austin. "Oh great!" She said and got up. "Well, I should get going," I said as I got up as well. "Oh no! Stay! To have dinner." She said and I shook my head. "Thank You but-" "Oh come on, I insist." I sighed. "Fine."

"This is so good," I said and took another bite from the lasagna. "Austin did it, I'm glad you liked it." I raised an eyebrow and look at Austin who was avoiding my eyes. I smirk. "Oh, you cook?" I ask Austin and he rubbed his neck nervously. "Pfft- No! Mother stop lying." He said and I laughed softly. "But she's not! I was helping you cook." Small Bella said and he looked at her. "Oh really?" I asked suddenly interested. "Yeah! And he bakes. I love His cupcakes and the frosting is pretty! He makes it my favorite color and shapes them into hearts and flowers and-" "Okay Bella I think that's enough." I chuckled and glanced at Shawna Who had a small smile on her lips. She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at me and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Baby photo's!" Shawna came running into the dining room with Austin behind her. "No, No, No. No Baby photo's." Austin said trying to get the album away from Shawna. "Why not?! They're adorable. Bring 'em over Shawna." Miss Bark said and Shawna smiled smugly at Austin.
