Alma

·Detention
·surprise test
·Annoying assignment
·New boy

That was a list of things that are making my day horrible. First, I got detention by my lovely Maths teacher who decided to think I was talking back to her. Then, I took a test in Litterature. After that, The baby assignment! Every teenager's nightmare. Who did I get paired up with? The annoying, arrogant, self-centered, asshole, The new boy!! Oh but that's not all! Austin sends me death glares whenever I get near him! Is it my fault my stupid teacher decided to seat me right next to him since I'm his tutor?!

Deep breaths, Alma. Deep breaths.

I sighed and dropped my head on my desk. "Alma!" I jumped up and looked at my teacher. Not again please, not another thing to add to my list. The old lady was holding a book and stretching it towards me. I got up and grabbed the book Í sat back down and placed the book on my head. "Every time that book falls equals detention." She told me and I nodded carefully. She's a very old style and this is supposed to keep us sitting up straight. I really hate this. Really bad.

I looked at the time and was relieved there were only five minuted left before lunch. "Pick up the worksheet before you leave, Alma?" I looked at her. "Give me my book." I grabbed the book and handed it to her then went back to my desk and packed my things. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see the new boy- Marcus. "What now?" I asked. He was holding the plastic baby.

"Take it. Be a single parent." I raised an eyebrow at the green-eyed idiot in front of me. "Excuse me? Single parent? Ha! No way." I told him and he rolled his eyes. "It's plastic! It's not hard to take care of." I crossed my arms and looked up at the giant in front of me. "Exactly! Which means you can take care of it!" I Said with an innocent smile. His eyes had amusement all over them. "Only because you're on your period and I wouldn't want you to take it out on our baby." He whispered in my ear. My eyebrows furrowed. "Look at your chair babe." I looked at my chair and saw bloodstains. "Shit!" I muttered. My dress is white too! I don't have a sweater. Why the hell!? "What am I going to do? What am I going to do?! This is so embarrassing!" I whispered to myself. "Here." Marcus have me his jacket and some tissues. "Wrap my hoodie around your waist and clean the chair." I was actually surprised. He was a complete asshole earlier. "Are you sure? I'll probably stain your hoodie." I said and he shrugged. "I don't mind." He said simply. Oh, but he does. It's the only thing that reminds him of his friends and his favorite sport that this school doesn't have, soccer. Number 12 was his number, his last name was written in capital letters on top of the number. "I'll try my best not to stain it, I promise." I said and carefully wrapped the hoodie around my waist and wiped the chair and threw the tissue away. I grabbed my stuff and we sneaked out of class. "Do you have extra clothes?" Marcus asked me and I nodded. "Only bottoms though." I said sheepishly. "I have my old Jersey but it might fit too big." He told me and I nodded. I unwrapped the hoodie and examined it. "No stains. Can I just wear the hoodie for today?" I asked and he nodded. I smiled at him and we hurried to my locker. I grabbed my necessary things. How do I have extra underwear, tampons, pads, bottoms, but not a shirt? I grabbed the jeans and kind of ran to the bathroom. Marcus waited outside. The teacher said five minutes and ten already passed. I guess I read the time wrong and maybe so did she. I smiled to myself and went in a stall. I did what I needed and slipped on Marcus' hoodie. I threw away my dress and underwear since they were both white and I rather not be carrying bloody clothes in my bag. I covered it with toilet paper then washed my hands. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled I don't look bad at all. I walked outside and Marcus looked me up and down.

"My hoodie looks good on you." I felt blood rush to my cheeks and I smiled shyly. "Thank you, do you mind keeping this between us?" I asked a bit my lip. "Of course. Your secret is safe with me, on one condition." I looked at him to continue. "Let's eat lunch together?" He asked me and I nodded. "Sure. Let's Go ahead of everyone and I'll show you where we sit." I said and pulled him along. "Who else eats with you?" Marcus asked me. "My older brother and my sister, and a friend." I answered him with a shrug. "Oh." He said and nodded. "You know, you have very pretty eyes." My eyes widened a little. I turned to Marcus to see him already looking at me.
