Alma
I smiled at Danielle and Marcus hugging I looked at Austin who was on the phone then glanced at Shawna and Xander. They were leaning against eachother and laughing together. I feel alone.
Austin has been a bit distant, he has been a lot more on his phone talking to other people then talking to me like before. I give him space, right? I tried to hug him last night and he gave me a short hug then walked away.
I frowned and sipped on my soda. "Hey, what's up?" Shawna asked and I faked a smile. "Nothing." I answered and she nodded and began talking to Xander again. He raised an eyebrow at me and I shook my head with a small smile. Why ruin their time?
"Well at least you asked."
That line was stuck in my head, I know Danielle didn't even remember me at the moment but her words still hurt. "I'm back." Austin kissed my cheek and I smiled. "What's wrong?" He frowned a little and I shook my head. "Nothing." I answered and he bit his lip but stayed quiet. "You know, we should watch a movie tonight." He said and I smiled up at him. "Really?" I asked and he nodded. "No phone calls or interruptions?" I asked and he nodded again. "Promise." He said and pecked my lips. Maybe he'll ask me then? Why am I even worrying? It's just a stupid dance.
Maybe it's the phone calls you're worried about.
No. No, I trust Austin. He is loyal to me as much as I am to him. "Okay." I said and we sat to eat.

"So what are we planning to do next? We have a whole afternoon." Austin said as we finished eating. "We should go to the carnival!" Xander said and I looked at him weirdly. "You hate that place." Shawna and I said at the same time and Marcus shrugged. "People change." Marcus jumped in looking a bit nervous. "Um, okay? That's cool with me." I said and everyone else shrugged. "Alright, lets move, Alma and I have plans tonight." Austin said and I smiled.
We all separated as soon as we arrived at the parking lot. "Shawna and Danielle didn't even get to buy their prom dresses though." I said making sure to bring out the word 'prom' as much as I could without making it obvious. I sat into the passengers seat and he shrugged. "I guess they'll get it another time." He said and I nodded. "Do you know the prom date?" I asked and he looked as if to be thinking. "Uh, next Friday?" He answered sounding a bit confused. Boy if you don't.....
I'm fucking giving you signs! I kind of wanted you to ask me to prom! I nodded and looked out the window. "You okay?" He asked and I nodded. "Fine." I answered softly. "Sure?" I sighed. "Just a small headache." I lied and actual concern covered his face. "We can just go home. We will go to the carnival another time." He suggested and I shook my head. "It'll go away soon enough." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me. "I'm serious, I'm fine. It's doesn't even hurt." I said and he nodded.
"Alright but if it gets bad just tell me and I'll get you home." He said and I looked my street coming up. "Can we just pick up Lola first?" I asked and he nodded. When he stopped the car I ran into the house. "Lola! Girl!" I yelled as I grabbed her leash. She came running in the room and I smiled. "We're going out!" I said and she sat perfectly still as I put her leash on and as soon as she heard the soft 'click' noise from the leash she hurried towards the door making me laugh quietly. I opened the back seat of Austin's car for Lola and then went back into the passengers seat. "Are you sure you're okay?" Austin asked and I nodded. "I actually grabbed pain killers really quick, it should help pretty soon." I lied to him, and slowly relief covered his handsome features. He pecked my lips really quick then he began driving. He held my hand for almost the whole ride. When we got there, a burst of excitement exploded inside me. I opened the door and grabbed Lola from the leash, she walked between Austin and me as we walked towards the entrance. Xander and the rest were there.
"Hey, here are the tickets." Xander said and they all stared at us. "What?" I asked with a small smile and they shook their heads. Austin sent them a glare that dissapeared as soon as he saw me looking. "What?" I repeated a little annoyed now. "Nothing, where do you want to go first?" Austin asked me and I looked at the huge Farris wheel first. "We should go on that." I pointed and the girls nodded. "How about we do that at the end?" Austin asked and I nodded. "Okay sure." I said and looked at Danielle and Shawna for suggestions. "Bumpy cars!" Danielle shrieked and making us jump. "Okay, I'll just watch. To stay with Lola." I said and we walked towards the car. It was getting pretty dark and LED color lights turned on inside the small area for the cars, it almost looked like christmas lights. "You sure you'll watch? I can take care of Lola." Austin offered and I shook my head. "Just go, I'll be fine watching." I said and he nodded and left.
For the past hour or so, Lola recieved a lot of attention from strangers. She seems really happy too. "Babe I'm tired." Shawna told Xander and he nodded. "Let's just go on the Ferris wheel then we will all leave." Austin said and we all agreed, we arrived towards the line which wasn't as long as earlier, Austin nodded at the young guy helping the people on the ride and taking the tickets. The boy nodded and smiled. "You know him?" I asked Austin and he shrugged a little. "He might be doing me a huge favour, talking about favours, can you do me one?" Austin asked me and I nodded.
"Don't leave me." I leaned my head against him. "Never." I muttered and he smiled. There was something rolled up at the top of one of the seats that was coming down. "What is that?" I asked myself. Once it came down right in front of us Austin grabbed something from inside and he undid the poster, "prom?" I smiled in probably the most creepiest way. Austin pulled out a teddy bear from behind him that has about up to my hips.
"I- You-" I stuttered and people were cherring. I nodded and ran towards him, he opened his arms and hugged me. "I thought you forgot." I muttered and he chuckled. "Ofcourse not, I just didn't know what to do." He said with a shrug and I chuckled. "Shall we?" Austin asked and I gave Danielle Lola and followed Austin inside the small cage looking seats. "It's not big or anything but, I tried." Austin said and I smiled. "I loved it." I muttered and kissed his cheek. "I'm glad." He said and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "You are so, ugh- how do I say this?" I asked myself. "Handsome? Amazing? Of course, I'm Austin." I rolled my eyes. "I was go I g to say cocky but that works too." I said with a small laugh. "And you're beautiful."

"I thought we were going to watch a movie." I said in a small laugh as Austin led me up the stairs. "We are, but I never said where." He said and sent me a small wink making me laugh. "Shhh, my mom is asleep." He said jokingly and I rolled my eyes. "I think Lola likes your floor." I said quietly. "Nahh, I Just think she's tired." Austin said as we jumped over a slepping Lola. "Maybe." I layed besides Austin and he looked through his computer. "What movie?" He asked me and I looked at the screen. "Ohh! The ender Games!" I said and he nodded. "You wanna know something?" Austin asked me, I hummed in response. "You make me fall in love with you more and more every time I'm with you." Austin said and I smiled
. "Of course, I'm Alma, but you want to know something too?" I asked back and he nodded with a smile playing at his lips. "I feel like all of this is a dream and I fear of waking up, but then I feel your touch, I hear words come out of your mouth and I feel safe, and I don't care if one day you'll leave me because I'll know that I've finally fallen in love, and that I'm safe." I muttered and he kissed my forehead. "I'll never leave you." He whispered in my ear. "Promise?"
"Promise."
