It's the same night Lucas and I said we love each other. It's a night I'll honestly remember forever. I love him so much, I've never felt so crazy for something I already have. Like when you're six and you hear there's a new Barbie dream house and so you really want it and are crazy for, but then you get it. You get it and a week later it's just meh. Lucas, oh man, Lucas is the opposite. I wasn't that crazy for him to begin with, in fact I didn't like him whatsoever until a few months ago. Now I have him, and I'm even more crazy for him than I was two months ago.
Lucas and I were laying on his bed, just laying there. I was thinking about what we had said and stuff, I wasn't bored. I was with Lucas, how could I get bored? I turned to face him better and smiled.
"What's in your mind?" I smile.
"You." He smiled at me.
"Really, what's on your mind. Is something bothering you?" I as a bit seriously.
"Well, I was thinking. How did I end up dating Samantha Holmes? The beautiful, amazing, smart, athletic, and talented Samantha Holmes." Lucas smiled in amazement.
"Are you kidding? I'm laying in Lucas Clark's bed, with Lucas Clark himself." I roll my eyes in amusement.
Lucas had a goofy grin on, I could tell he was a but tired. I was, too. He had a loose grip on my waist, which tightened and pulled me closer to him. I smiled and ran a hand through his hair.
"You tired?" I giggle.
"Mhmm..." He groaned, he nodded so I'm assuming he is.
I stood up from his bed and turned to face Lucas laying down still.
"I should go, let you nap." I sigh.
His eye widened and grabbed me by my waist. I was pulled back down on the bed.
"I wanna nap with you." Lucas whined.
I looked into his pleading and tired eyes. I gave up.
"Fine but I'm changing out of these fancy clothes." I stood up from his bed and wandered into his closet.
"Thank you," Lucas called to me.
"Yeah, yeah." I roll my eyes and chuckle.
I was wearing leggings and a sweater, and when I put on the sweater I forgot how itchy it was. Actually, I think I'm allergic to wool. I have this and another sweater that's wool and they both itch, Tay has borrowed this sweater and she never said it was itchy. I was looking on his hangers for a sweatshirt but I couldn't find one. I walked out of the closet and looked at Lucas with furrowed eyebrows.
"Where's your sweatshirts?" I ask.
"They're in there." He said.
I went back in and saw a bin. I opened it and found sweatshirts stacked on one another. I grabbed the top one, one of his football ones. I walked out and held it up.
"This was in a bin, was it a dirty clothes bin or is this clean?" I ask.
"It's clean." He nodded.
"Ok." I say and close his door.
The sweatshirt was being held between my legs while I pulled off my sweater. I quickly pulled the sweatshirt over my head. I folded my sweater and laid it next to my purse. I opened the door. I pulled my hair into a bun and adjusted my bra. I usually don't sleep with a bra on, but when I do it's a sports bra. They're more comfortable in my opinion.
"You done?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.
I nodded and slipped under the blankets with him. As I went to peck Lucas on the cheek he turned and purposely caught my lips. I smiled through the kiss and departed.
"I love you." I smile.
"I love you." Lucas pulled me close to his body.
I laid my head on his shoulder. I could smell the cologne on his sweatshirt, it smelt just like him.
"Are you sniffing the sweatshirt?" Lucas chuckled.
I had started smelling the sweatshirt without meaning too.
"Yes, yes I am." I smile.
Lucas chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"It smells like you." I say defensively.
"Is that a good thing?" He asked.
"Absolutely. I love your cologne." I smile.
"It just ok, in my opinion." Lucas shrugged.
"It reminds me of you." I smile.
"You're adorable." He kissed my forehead.
Lucas began rubbing my back, which was very relaxing.
"How long did you like me before I liked you?" I ask.
"About six months. I was crazy for you." He smiled.
"I feel bad now. I was so mean." I giggle.
"It was worth it, I mean look where we are now." Lucas pulled me tighter and smiled.
"You're cute." I smile.
"Oh, so I liked you for like a total of eight months and all I get is cute?" He chuckled.
"Better than saying you're single." I shot back.
"Ooh, honey that hit me right here." He placed a hand over his heart.
"Right here?" I ask playfully, placing a hand over my heart.
"Yup," Lucas made a popping noise on the P.
"Well, right here," I tap my hand over my heart, "Beats only for you."
"That was so cheesy." Lucas chuckled.
"You love it." I slap his chest.
"I love you." He said in matter-of-fact tone.
"Oh, who's cheesy now?" I giggle.
"Two cheesy people make a cheesier... I don't know where I was going with this." He sighed.
"If I told you this was only gonna hurt, if I warned you that the fires gonna burn. Would you walk in? Would you let me do it first? Do it all in he name of love." I say as serious as possible.
I wanted to see if would recognize the song I said I've had stuck in my head.
"Yes." He answered.
I burst out laughing.
"Those are song lyrics-" I was cut off by my own laughing.
"Oh my god," Lucas laughed, too.I was laying on Lucas' chest, I could hear his steady heart beat. I glanced up at him, he was asleep.
"Mmm.. I should go." I say to myself, followed my a yawn.
I got up silently and grabbed my stuff. I opened his bedroom door, about to walk out.
"Where are you going?" Lucas said tiredly, rubbing his eyes.
"You were asleep so I was gonna leave." I say.
"Without saying bye?" He sat up and yawned.
He was so cute when he was tired. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the bed. I leaned so I was level with Lucas.
"Goodbye." I smile and go to stand up straight.
"Wait." Lucas said and motioned me to lean back down.
"What?" I smile.
Lucas connected our lips. I set my stuff down on his bed, careful not to ruin the moment. Once my arms were free, I wrapped them around his neck. He pulled me on top of him. I was sitting on his lap while facing him, my legs wrapped around his back. His hand found their way to my hair, entangling his fingers in my blonde strands. We departed, both of us grasping for air. This time I went back for more, which is mostly something Lucas does. Not to say I do to want to kiss him, I just usually don't have time to think about going at it again before he plants a kiss back on my lips. His front teeth gently tugged at my bottom lip before we both pulled back win puffy lips.
"Please stay?" He made a cute puppy dog face.
"Give me once good reason." I say stubbornly, but jokingly at the same time.
"I don't want you to." He said.
I thought about it.
"Fine, I'll stay for a little bit." I smile.
"Perfect, I really wanted someone to babysit with me." He smiled.
"Wait what?" My eyes widen.
"My cousin, Laila, is coming over." Lucas said.
"Ooh, ok. I've been dying to meet her." I say.
"We'll probably have pizza rolls for dinner." He shrugged.
"Yum." I smile.
"We've been dating for like a month and a half now, right?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"Well we've never had a proper 'meet the family' dinner." He said.
"So you want me to have dinner with your family?" I ask.
"My mom wanted me to ask you if you wanted to tomorrow." He said.
"Sure, I'm sure your parents want to get to know the girl who made Lucas Braden Clark break the social rules and date a volleyball player and not a cheerleader." I giggle.
"And I'm sure your parents want to meet Samantha Laila Holme's volleyball distraction." He smiled teasingly.
I couldn't get over how cute and nice he was to me. I truly am in love with this boy.

Sorry for not updating I've had writers block :/ anyways I'm back and I will be focusing on this book more often now that I'm on holiday break. I'm hoping to finish this story somewhere between chapter 40 and 50, it doesn't seem like long but trust me it is. I might do a sequel, but most likely not for a while. I started a book called The Diary of a Confused Individual. I'm trying to make it a comical teen fiction, a little less romantic (but there will be a couple you'll absolutely adore ;D). I'm also working on beginning a book called This Summer. I'll most likely write these chapters and have about five written before I actually publish the first one, I don't want too many stories at once.
Have a Merry Christmas,
