Before you went any deeper into London, Phillip disappeared inside a barely-standing cottage-like house that rested alone among the dust and cinders. A Luftwaffe plane with one wing had dug itself down the roof, taking a quarter of the building with it.
With a reluctant step, you went in as well "Why are we here?" You raised your hands to cover your arms, it was getting colder.
Phillip reappeared. He threw you a bag, "Put it on"
You caught and opened it. Inside was a sunflower-yellow dress and the ugliest pair of brown shoes.
"Why?"
"Are you daft? You can't walk around town looking like a Frowner"
"A Frowner?"
He sighed, "How hard did you bump your head? Or are you one of the freaks my brother somehow dragged here?" He scratched his hair "Just hurry up"
"O-okay" You walked into what was left of the kitchen, far from Phillip, and changed. Once you were done, you returned and found that Phillip had changed as well. He wore suspenders over a dress shirt and bright blue socks.
When he saw you, he pulled out a pouch from the back of his pocket. "Are you okay with toffee? I ran out of cotton candy and caramel a while ago"
"Yeah... I guess so" You answered, not sure what was going on.
He took out what looked like a capsule. He threw it inside his mouth and swallowed. Then, he held up the pouch, "Just take one"
"What? I don't... I don't do drugs"
He snorted "No one from that side of the country does, but if you want to explore London without getting killed, you need your Pill. You should know this by now"
"No"
"Look" He glared "I need to take you to London, and I need you alive when I do that, so just take the damn pill"
You took a step back, ready to sprint anytime, the adrenaline making the pain in your legs and arms from your earlier escape vanish, "No!"
"TAKE IT, GODDAMMIT!" He moved so fast.
He shoved you to a wall and then, he grabbed your jaws.

London Bridge has fallen down,
fallen down, fallen down,
"...My fair lady" you sang, holding hands with Phillip as you skipped down the streets.
You passed by a playground, one that was painted pink and yellow. An old lady half your size was on the swings. Her smile hurt, but you mirrored it "Good evening!" She greeted with a wave.
You waved back, "Good morning! Lovely weather, isn't it?"
"Yes," the old lady replied, "it really is one fine evening, dear"
No one seemed to notice how dark the clouds were. Or the maggots crawling out the old lady's wrinkled, paper-pale skin.
Phillip, who has taken the Pill so many times already, had grown sober by the time you reached his "hideout", a room in a quaint tavern in the middle of town.
"Oooh, what're we going to do? Oh, I know, I know! Let's play hide-and-seek. I'll close my eyes and count to ten. You hide, and once I'm done counting, I'll come and find you, okay?"
You turned to the wall and covered your eyes, "One, two, three..." You were so engrossed in counting that you didn't hear the door open, "...nine, ten! Ready or not—" You spun around, but much to your surprise, Phillip was on the floor, eyes closed.
Also, there were three men in the room with you.
"Um... hello...?" You tilted your head, "Are you Phillip's friends?"
The tallest one snorted, "She's still high"
"Of course she is, you don't expect this fragile flower to be what the American calls a 'stoner'" The Asian man said.
The tanned brunette smiled at you, "Ciao, bella"
"Bella?" You broke into an even wider grin "Luciano!" You threw your arms around him, "I haven't seen you for..." you stopped to think.
"For two months... You..." He chuckled, gently playing with a lock of your hair, "you're as charming as ever"
Lutz pulled down the curtains, "We need go. Now"
"Go? But we just got here"
"Don't you want to go home?" Kuro asked, grabbing your arm.
"...Home?" Your body shook and you held a hand to your head. Home...
"Yes, we'll be home soon and you can read as many books as you want in the library and ask the chef for anything you want, so let's go, all right?" Luciano brushed his fingers over your cheeks.
Dazed, you nodded. But then, "What about Phillip?"
"Phillip? Oh, you mean the kid. He's... tired from all that walking so he'll be resting here"
"He's not coming?"
"No, I'm afraid not, bella"
"Oh"
Footsteps hurried up the stairs, followed by an angry voice, "Open up, damn Frowners! Surrender now and we might have mercy"
Lutz smirked. Kuro grabbed onto something long that hung from his side.
"Now, Name" Luciano started "We're going to play a game"
"I like games!"
"Yes, yes, I know. Now, pay attention. Lutz is going to carry you down the stairs and you're going to close your eyes and count aloud from one to one hundred—a contest on who is faster. Do you think you can do that?"
You bobbed your head up and down.
"Good. Now"
"Last warning. SURRENDER NOW"
Lutz nodded and then lifted you up his arms, "Ready?"
"Uh-huh" You put your hands over your face. "One"
The door fell off its hinges and you were too busy counting and too tipsy to hear the groans and curses.
By the time you reached one hundred and opened your eyes, you were already inside the car.
"Aw, I lost"
"You did fine, frau" Lutz placed a hand on your head.
"Lutz"
"What?"
You reached to touch something red and warm on his brow, "Are you..." Your vision was getting hazy.
"...okay..." You fell on his lap.
Outside the vehicle and high up the sky, the rain seemed to be following you.
