"No, thanks," you tell him politely. You can see his heartbreak written all over his face, so you quickly leap away to end the awkwardness. You have a job to do, anyway. As f/n Powers, the Guardian of Determination, you help people become and stay motivated to do things with your determination fire- what you decided to call that bright red fire that seems to give people determination. You also kept your word to the Leprechaun of being her friend and helping her make other friends, so you visit her at least once a week. This week, you don't have to make a special trip, because she'll be at North's Christmas party tonight. You hope that things won't be awkward now between you and Sandy, as you like him as a friend, but at least you have that party tonight to look forward to.
