Chapter 16: Another One

•Taylor•
I woke up to the ear piercing sound of my alarm. God I hated that sound.
I moaned as I rolled over towards Zac and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Hey..." He said to me.
"Good morning." I replied.
He leaned down and kissed my head.
"I'm gunna take a quick rinse, I'll be back in a few. Could you wake Tessa up for me please?" I asked getting up and grabbing some clean clothes from my dresser.
"Yeah." He said coming over to me.
"But first....I need a kiss." He said.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.
"Okay..." I turned so I was facing his with his arms still around me.
I leaned in and gently pressed my lips to his.
"I love you so much." He said kissing me deeper.
"And I love you..." I said lightly.
"Is everything alright Tay?" He asked concerned.
"What? Yeah! Of course! I'm just tired I think...."
"Okay... well just lemme know if you need anything.." He said kissing my cheek.
"I will."

I walked into Tessa's room and flicked her light on. I sat next to her in her bed and stroked her hair.
"Hey beautiful... it's time to get up and go to school."
She grumbled and turned away from me, pulling the covers over her head.
"C'mon baby... you gotta get up it's already 7:45..." I tickled her sides gently.
"Nooo, let me sleep!" She whined.
"Do you want me to get mommy?"
"Yes please." She always wants Taylor to wake her up for some reason.
I walked down to the bedroom and Taylor was putting a shirt on.
"Tessa-" I started.
"Yeah I'm going..." She finished my sentence.

When I opened the door to Tessa's room she was sitting up.
"Hey sweetie." I said crawling into bed with her.
"Hi mommy." She said snuggling up to me. I wrapped my arms around her.
"Do you wanna go to school today?" I asked her hinting at the fact she didn't have to go if she didn't want to.
"No, not really." She exclaimed.
"Okay, that's fine. But just for today."
"Can you lay with me for a while please?"
"Of course, is everything okay?" I asked kissing her head.
"Yeah I just miss you."
"But I'm right here baby..." I said kissing her head again.
"I know but I feel like I never see you or talk to you anymore very often." She said with sadness behind her voice.
"Aw sweetheart, I know I've been really busy lately and I'm sorry about that but I promise today it'll just be you and me, okay?" I asked her.
"Yeah! That sounds good!" She said burying her head into my neck.
"Baby, I gotta get up real quick I don't feel well... I'll be right back!" I got up and rushed to the bathroom. When I got there I immediately threw up. I felt dizzy and my legs felt wobbly and weak.
Why did I feel so sick? I haven't eaten anything different and I didn't feel feverish... hmmm.. oh my gosh... I'm pregnant.
Zac and I had slept together a few months ago and didn't use a condom so I knew I was pregnant but I decided to get a pregnancy test just to be cautious.
Zac was in the bedroom getting ready for work.
"Hey-" He was about to say something but I stopped him by suddenly kissing him.
He was shocked at first but then fell deeper into my kiss.
When I broke apart the kiss he stood there shocked for a moment.
"W-what was that for?" He said wide-eyed.
"Nothing, just because. But I have to tell you something..." I said seriously.
"What is it Tay?" He asked interested.
"Well.....I'm pregnant." I look down at the ground then back up at him.
"What?" He asked.
"I said I'm pregnant."
"How long have you known?" He asked.
"Today ha, I haven't known at all til today." I looked at him nervous about what he was going to say.

"Well? Are you gunna say something?" I asked terrified.

"I-I'm so glad! And excited, but also a little nervous, but y'know, mostly excited!! What about you? How do you feel about it?" He asked hugging me.

I exhaled in relief.

"I feel excited to and also nervous, yes. But I'm also kind of worried that Tessa won't be happy about it. Y'know, like having to share us, and having all the attention ripped from her."
