Chapter 61: Will You Marry Me?

~Tessa~
This evening Finn and I were going out. He said he wanted to take me somewhere special. I didn't know where he wanted to take me but I was just happy that he wanted to do something with me. Just the two of us.
"Hey, Tess?" He called my name from the living room.
"Yeah?" I called back.
"Who's gonna sit for Lu tonight?" He asked me.
"I was planning on taking her over to my mom's house," I said.
"Oh okay, that sounds good!" He said happily. I was happy that my mom and Finn had a close relationship, it made me feel good.
I smiled to myself and went to call my mom.
"Hey, baby! What's up?" My mom answered the phone.
"Nothin' much, you?" I returned.
"Nothing really, is everything okay?" She asked.
"Yes! Everything is great! I was just wondering if Luna could stay over at your place tonight. Finn wants to take me out tonight somewhere special," I said.
"Yes, of course, she can, and that's so nice of Finn!" She said happily.
"Awesome! Thank you, and yeah, it is! I'm excited!" I said in the same upbeat tone.
"Alright, well what time are you thinking of bringing her over?" She asked me.
"About 5:30, if that's okay," I said.
"Yeah, that sounds perfect!"
"Okay, thank you so much!" I said.
"No need to thank me," she finished.
"Alright, I'll see you then, I love you!" I said lastly.
"I love you, too! Bye!" Then we hung up.
~Later That Evening~
"Luna!" I called to her.
"Coming!" She called back and came down the stairs.
"Are you ready to go to Nani's?" I asked her happily.
"Yes!" She said happily as well.
"Good! Is all your stuff packed?"
"Yes, I think so!" She said.
"Okay, good job! Can you go get it?"
"Yep, I'll be right back!" With that, she raced up the stairs and into her room. I chuckled to myself and then I went over to the window. It was sunny and it looked warm out. Perfect, I thought.
"You ready?" Finn asked coming over to me and kissing my cheek.
"Yes, I'm just waiting for Luna to grab her things," I said kissing him twice.
"Okay, good," he finished.
Luna came down then and I grabbed her bags from her.
"Are you ready, Lu?" I asked her.
"Yes! Let's go!" She said excitedly.
"Okay!" We all left then and we dropped her off and my parent's house.
"Hey! Welcome!" My mom said answering the door.
"Naniiiii!" Luna shouted and ran to her as she picked her up.
"Hey, little angel! How are you?" She asked her kissing her cheek over and over again.
"I'm good! How are you?" She asked her back and kissed her cheek, too.
"I'm great now that I get to see my beautiful granddaughter!" She said.
"Tessa, come here!" My mom said. I went over and kissed her and hugged her quick and then Finn did the same.
"You guys go have fun, I'll see you both tomorrow!" She said.
"Okay, I love you! Thank you again!" I said kissing her cheek once more.
"I love you, too and you're welcome! Bubye!" She said as we left.
When Finn and I got in the car, he leaned over and kissed me deeply for a second.
"What was that for?" I asked him as I giggled a little.
"Oh nothing, just because I wanted to kiss you," he smiled at me and kissed me again quickly before backing out of the driveway.
"Well, thank you!" I said to him.
"You're welcome!" He said back.
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise!" He said.
"C'mon, don't I at least get a hint?" I asked innocently.
"Okay, sunshine," he said.
"Is that the hint?" I asked.
"Mhm."
"That's not a good hint! That could be anything!" I chuckled.
"Exactly!" He said proudly.
We drove for a while and then he told me to close my eyes.
"What, why?" I asked him.
"Just close them, please!" He chuckled.
"Okay, fine," I said as I closed my eyes.
He helped me out of the car and led me somewhere. When he let me open my eyes we were at the beach. He had set up a fire and flower petals everywhere. Rose petals to be specific.
"Aww, Finn! This is beautiful!" I said looking at everything.
"I'm glad you like it," he said wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me. I put my hands on his arms and he began kissing my neck. I tilted my head to the side and let him.
"I love you so much," he said quietly.
"I love you so much, too," I said back.
"You're so amazing and beautiful and perfect and I'm so lucky to have you," he said.
"Aww, that's so sweet, and I'm so lucky to have you, too," I said as he turned me around.
He leaned in and kissed me gently.
Then he suddenly pulled away.
"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"Tessa..." he started.
"Finn...?" I said back.
"You've made me happy from the day we met.  I never thought someone could make me as happy as you make me. You're so beautiful inside and definitely out. You're so intelligent and sweet. Caring and kind. Funny and adorable. Perfect in my eyes. I love you with all my heart and there aren't any words that could even begin to express how much I love you. It's indescribable. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. I wanna wake up next to you and fall asleep next to you every day. I wanna have more kids with you and live together till we're old and gray, so my question is...will you marry me?" He asked. I stood there in shock for a moment. He took me by complete surprise.
I put my hand on my heart and tried not to cry.
"Yes, Finn! Of course, I'll marry you!" I said happily as he slid the beautiful ring onto my finger.
"I love you more than anything, Tessa," he said as he kissed me passionately.
"I love you more than anything, too, Finn." As he was kissing me he ran his fingers through my hair gently and then began to kiss my neck again.

"Let's go home," he said low. I knew what was next and I was wanting the same thing.

~Back At Home~

We got to the door and started kissing again. This time it was even more passionate than before. He kissed my jaw my neck my shoulder, collarbone, and then back to my lips. We got inside and made our way upstairs to the bedroom. Once we entered the room, he shut the door behind us and slid his hands under my shirt as he pulled it over my head.

"I love you so much," he said again.

"I love you so much, too," I said back as he pushed my pants down and then took his own shirt and pants off. We were left in our underwear then.

He walked us backward till the back of my legs were against the bed. He laid me down and unhooked my bra and took it off. Then he took my underwear off and his own then crawled up on the bed with me. He leaned down and kissed my breasts and sucked on them a little bit.
