~4 Years Later~(Tessa)
"Luna! We're gonna be late!" I said as I grabbed her gymnastics bag and then put a snack in it for her. Apple slices of course.
"Okay!" She came down the stairs and ran to me.
"Ready to go?" I asked her.
"Can you put my hair in a ponytail first please?" She asked me.
"Yeah!" I brushed her hair back with my fingers and then tied it up with the ponytail holder that she gave me. Luna started gymnastics when she was 2 and she was really good at it.
"Thanks! Let's go!" She said opening the front door.
"Okay!" I said as I grabbed my car keys and handed her gymnastics bag to her.
We got into the car and drove there.
"Alright, do you want me to stay today?" I asked her.
"Yeah! Can you?!" She got excited.
"Yeah, I have time today!" I smiled at her.
"Yayyy! You can stay!" She sang.
We got out of the car and went inside.
"Okay, go have fun!" I said as I kissed her.
"Okay, bye!" She ran off then.
~Luna~
"Okay, Girls. Today we're doing floor and tramp. Let's stretch." My gymnastics teacher said.
We did hollow holds, sit ups, push ups, splits, ankle stretches and wrist stretches. Arm and leg stretches and backbends to stretch out our backs.
Then we went to tramp and did some warm-ups.
I loved gymnastics. My mom did it when she was younger and so did Melanie. Melanie still does it though.
I was in level 2 but I didn't compete or anything yet.
~Tessa~
I was watching Luna do gymnastics. I loved watching her because I remember when I used to do it and I missed it a lot. What I wouldn't give to be little again. I watched her flip and bounce around. She loved gymnastics, and when she was here, she just had fun. Which, was the most important thing. Her class lasted about an hour and a half and then it was time to take her home. I wanted to move out of my parent's house soon. Finn and I had our eyes set on this house that was just a little bit out of town. It was beautiful and big enough for expansion. It had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a great size and had a huge fenced in backyard. Perfect for Luna when she does her gymnastics. I also wanted to get a dog in that house. Luna's been begging for one for a few months now and I think it'd be a good idea.
I waited at the gate for her.
"Mommy! Did you see me do that back handspring?!" She asked excitedly.
"Yeah! I did! Good job, Luna!" I picked her up and kissed her cheek over and over.
"I'm hungry!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah, me, too! Let's go eat!" I took her home and as we came through the door my mom was standing there. She almost gave me a heart attack.
"Oh, gosh! What are you doing just standing there?" I asked trying to catch my breath.
"Hi! Sorry, I forgot was I was doing and I was trying to remember..." she said seriously.
"Okay then...are you okay?" I asked her.
"Yeah! I'm really tired and I've been cleaning all day," she informed me.
"Yeah? Well, why don't you go sit down and I'll make us all some dinner, okay?" I asked her.
"Okay, thank you," she said as she made her way over to the sofa.
"Luna, can you go change into some different clothes please?" I asked her.
"Yeah! I'll be right back!" She said happily as she hopped up the stairs.
"What should I make for dinner?" I asked looking over at my mom.
"I don't know, maybe buttered noodles and some chicken?"
"Yeah, that's a good idea!" I said.
I got out everything and started to make it. Halfway through making it, Luna came down in her pajamas.
"Tada!!!" She sang.
"Luna, it's only 5:45, why are you already in your pajamas?" I asked giggling at her.
"Becauseee, they're comfy!" She exclaimed.
"I bet, but you still need to take a bath before you go to bed, okay?"
"Okay, mommy!" She took a seat at the kitchen table.
~6:30 pm~ (Tessa)
"Everyone, dinner's ready!!!" I called to everyone. They all came down and sat at the table as I passed out the plates and silverware.
Everyone sat down and ate and we just talked together.
"This is good, thanks, Tess," Melanie said.
"You're welcome!" I said.
~Later That Night~(Finn)
I was in the bedroom on the computer looking for houses. Tessa and I wanted to move out soon so that we could start fresh with Luna. We were excited but Tessa was a little hesitant, but she knew she wanted to move out sometime soon. She came into the room.
"Hey, what's up?" She asked as she crawled into bed with me.
"Just looking at houses. I found one that's just out of town. It looks really nice and they marked the price down a lot," I said.
She leaned over and looked at it.
"That's gorgeous! Is there anyone else looking to buy it?" She asked.
"No, not right now." I smiled at her.
"Well, put our names down and then I'll consult with my mom tomorrow," she said smiling back.
"Okay, sounds good," I said and put our names down.
"I'm gonna sleep now, I'm so tired," she said laying down.
"Okay, me, too." I put the computer down on the floor and then wrapped her up in my arms.
"I love you so much, goodnight," I said as I kissed her head.
"I love you so much, too. Goodnight," she finished and then kissed me quick. We both fell asleep pretty quickly.
I was really happy that we were about to build a life together. I definitely wanted to ask Tessa to marry me, but not just yet. I wanted to make sure it was the right time. That was a promise I made to myself: don't spring it on her. Wait for the perfect time. I planned to keep that promise.
